  1. Pm'd you a while back re. gearbox. Could you let me know. Cheers.
  2. Have used them in the past on polos/golfs and they are every bit as good as powerflex imo.
  3. You might find the gearing of your standard box will be too long for your new engine. You'll probably have peak power at around 8200rpm and find yourself revving to 9k. You're going to be geared for about 180mph. I'm not sure if there are any shorter CWP's available anywhere for the GTI box though. There are dog boxes and sequentials available from Germany in the 085 bellhousing pattern, which is Polo GTI fitment. You also occasionally see Gemini sequentials for sale on racecarsdirect. Again 085 fitment.
  4. Mine goes in to AAS late August. Local to us (Newcastle)and very good. Will be going twin box and OEM tailpipes as I want to keep it as quiet and stealthy as possible. Give me a shout late early September if you want to check it out.
  5. What is the condition of the car: dings, paint etc. Any other info on service history etc?
  6. I suppose so minnion. Just remember to always bow when I grace your premises with my presence!

  7. Pleeeease can I be your friend you know soooooo much Mr VW

  8. Don't suppose these are still available? Been let down on the tickets
  9. Wish you'd posted this yesterday. I've managed to buy a couple from elsewhere now and I can't go back on my word. Never mind!
  10. Anyone know of any weekend tickets for sale please let me know. Need two.
  11. KW use progressive springs on the rear. The fronts are linear and are metric rates. Coverts to about 280lbs in proper money.
  12. Mint! Where you at Tigz, i'm chomping at the bit here!
