  1. Thanks! I was trembling at the idea one of the ballasts was on their way off, will try to get a look this weekend. Am I right in thinking the whiter light is the OEM "colour" whereas the blue is not? Tell that to the previous owner Will shoot you a PM and we'll go for a drink!
  2. Why would you want OEM shocks with lowering springs? You'd surely be better off with proper aftermarket shocks to go with the lowering springs
  3. So, one of my xenons has more of a bluey colour, while the other is white. Do you guys think it's just a matter of different temperature colour bulbs? Or maybe something is old/broken inside? Not the best of pictures, will try to do one in the garage: Thanks
  4. If I remember correctly (did this 10 years ago more or less), brake and clutch have a rubber cover which you have to take off. Accelerator fits straight onto the pedal as it is
  5. Weitec are now called ST, and still made by KW
  6. Things start to move here, got myself a set of wheels: I guess you all know what they are. For those who don't, these are BBS RS 814, OEM optional wheels only sold (apparently) in the German and Japanese market. They are in need of some paint and polishing, so they'll be on in spring, after the winter months. And another picture of the car, when it was sunny and hot here during the summer
  7. If it's from 1999 you have a Flash Red one. Enjoy it
  8. Nothing new to see here, I've mainly been enjoying the car all summer. The only thing I've done to it is to take it to VW to get the xenons aligned, as one was way out Oh! And today I went over to Italy for a little road trip through the Alps Thanks for looking
  9. Nice drop, it's all about the subtle changes
  10. Before going for FK's I'd personally get myself a set of AP coilovers (if you don't want to spend the money they ask for KW's)
  11. That's looking pretty tidy. Always liked the way white GTi's looked! Congrats on your new car, keep enjoying it
  12. It's true that in some markets they only sold the 3 "base" colours. Yesterday I was reading a German Facebook group and they said that only 23 anthracite ones were sold in Germany, so it could very well be only 80ish in the world... I guess it's the rarest colour of all, apart of course from Laser blue which I still don't know why they made them, would be interesting to know
  13. Liking that! What paint did you use on the calipers? Mine need doing as they are a sort of dark pink at the moment...
  14. Looks nice, gotta love the Lupo Cup look!
  15. Interesting Lupo history... And a nice one (especially after seeing what your Sport ended up looking like), as one of them saved your life. Hope you keep on adding miles to the GTi without any problems and with lots of enjoyment
  16. Bem vindo! Nice little Lupo you got there! Any plans for it?
  17. You can't go wrong with a set of Bilstein B8 + Eibach springs. It won't get you very low tho
  18. The previous owner of my GTi told me there were only 88 anthracite GTi's ever produced. Wether that is true or false, I have no idea
  19. It seems like the only option was the colour, and only between red, black or silver. Out of all the Lupo's I've seen, all of them have A/C (but not a single one with climate control), no ESP, no heated seats, no sunroof... Although, I must say mileage is next to none, they seem well kept and prices are really low
  20. Do you happen to have the GTi floor mats for sale?
  21. By "Velo" you mean the Lupo GTi wheels?
