  3. i wouldnt bother tbh the 2.0 8v golf engine has got to be one of the worst ever made, under powered and no torque if your gonna do a swap you need an engine worth the effort theres a reason nobody has done it before, youd be better off using a lupo/polo gti engine

    Still looks awesome dude i remember this from a few years back when you had the lensos on i was parked a few rows behind you in the show and shine at inters and red is obviously the best colour good look with the conversion Carl
  5. The ones in phils drawing is exactly how i did mine and they sit nice and low but you can still lift them up using the seat mech

  7. thanks for the kind words guys i suppose i better give a bit of an update well ive just been maintaining the lupo for the last few months new cambelt and water pump have been fitted along with a new sachs clutch kit so no more heavy clutch pedal, ive also had two new rear brake calipers fitted as the handbrake mech was sticking on. I havnt done any shows this summer as i was busy partying in ibiza and working hard. Ive been getting more into detailing lately and days off work have been spent on other peoples cars! new products to try detailing a friends audi avant covered in autobrite magifoam love this stuff would be rude to leave the lupo out i decided to do a stud conversion on the lupo and bought some new wheel bolts and bought some new every day wheels for next summer 8x15 et 25 im gonna run 175/50/15 verdestein with these. Plans over the winter are to split the bbs and rebuild them with stainless bolts and dishes and a few touch ups of the paintwork hoping to get to alot more shows next year see you all then

  9. ive used lots of quick detailers and agree with joe both auto finesse finale and zaino are both pretty good, the kleen freeks one is ok but dosnt bowl me over, my personal favourite for the shine it leaves and for how it vanishes into the paint is chemical guys pro detailer i always make sure i have some of this in my collection, but its all down to personnal preference youll have to try some and see and thats part of the fun

  11. If your looking for a head gasket to lower the compression ratio google ferriday enginering I'm pretty sure they do a gasket for your engine
  12. so with the sun shining today i decided to give the engine bay a little tlc and added a little carbon fiber more updates soon

  15. wow havnt looked in on this for a while, alex you have been busy, all this shiney oem goodness gets my juices flowing! it looks immence fella, it must be on its way to being the best example in the country surely
  16. so as the weather has improved lately i decided to give the lupo a good detail which was well over due, unbelievably the inside was still quite clean but i still gave it a good clean while i was on i fitted my new wheel im well happy with this a much nicer feel than the lupo gti one and stopped by to see a friend who has just finished his hill climb porsche needless to say i did try and get a test drive but it has no road tax more updates soon
  17. It will fit you just have to swap the handbrake button from your lupo handbrake to the polo one
  18. I don't know him personally but I know the car I've seen it around the town a few times
