Was this Paisley or another courier company?

clean daily (SOLD) - update with my new VR pg.10
Clairey Fairy replied to max West-York's topic in Member's Cars
I'm actually in love with that roof -
Coolness, well just to be safe i think i'll go with the £27.99 option purely because it should do what it says on the tin.... This doesn't fill me with much confidence - I don't like Pricks Indeed it was for your old wheels - they're not going anywhere though, now that they're painted in Audi Laser Red they look seriously hot. Sweet, well as long as they're safe-ish and actually make it to the front door then i'll be happy. They're not exactly mint condition - most of their life has been spent outside in the bleak Scottish winter.......... I'll try and keep you posted. If anyone actually gives a rats arse

Thanks James. I notice from the website there is an "Alloy Wheel" option which mentions nothing about weight, packaging etc only that there is a 17" limit, or there is as you mentioned an option where you add each parcel individually by weight and dimentions. I'm guessing it won't make a difference as to how i book it? I was thinking bubblewrap all round and a flat cardboard bit to protect the face should suffice. Oooo i'm quite excited now......

Hello Strangers It's been a very long time since I had something delivered by Paisley - I'm looking to get 4 wheels (with tyres fitted) lifted and shifted but can't remember the "rules" with regards to wrapping them to Paisley's liking etc. Does anyone here know for sure how they need to be wrapped/boxed/4 seperate/all 4 stacked together etc? I have emailed them but as ever I'm a very impatient person and i'd like to know before Monday TIA, Clairey (The original one!!!)

"Wench" isn't valid either.
-
Rare too. Only ever seen one lazer blue ever
-
Looks good, and normally i don't say that about 16inch wheels!
-
My exhaust sounds lovely
-
Nicer than some of the cars i've seen on here
-
Wow, i had no idea people weren't allowed to have their own opinion anymore...

6AY F4G.....

"Rat" isn't a look, it's an excuse.

Spoke to both John and Rhys in the end. GTI is now insured with modifications - woo! I really wish i had a Welsh accent Hi Marcus
-
My GTi is currently costing me very little indeed. Insurance runs out on the 16th so my final payment is already out, and it's currently in a coma on the driveway so i guess "Nothing!"
-
22 with 3 years NCB. I cant remember the exact rates Brentacre have put forward, but there are 2 options based on 10 monthly payments. Im used to seeing cheaper quotes because this is the first time i'm insuring my car as modified in any way. (Because previously i was young and foolish)
-
The Lidl ones are beyond funny!
-
Shush you. I know it's not cheap, but i'm too lazy to try and get it cheaper. Shameful, but for the time and money i'd waste on countless phonecalls i'd rather cough up the £700. If i could afford to do it in one go then it'd be £640. Which i dont think is *that* bad considering that on the day of purchase the car cost me £960 to insure....
-
Turns out i was completely deluded, of course they charge interest! But mine still came out alot cheaper than Flux so i'm happy. (Relatively. £701 for a GTI with style mods only. Pleh.)
-
Thought as much - i'm prepared for a deposit of X amount, but for some reason i've managed to get it into my head that the interest isn't *that* much...
-
Hello, i'm new here....... Does anybody know for definite if Brentacre charge you interest for paying your car insurance monthly? I'm too impatient to wait until tomorrow to find out!! TIA, Me

Hi, I'm new around here... I'd like to nominate any car that Mitch touches.

Hi, I'm new here....... I'd like to nominate some guy called Barnsley-Arosa. His car looks a bit like this, only much shinier in real life:

I can see dirt!!!
