section five is a teeside based thing. they're all gimps and munch parmo's. I like them really but I'd never say. they organise meets at the baltic every month. few cars show up, a nice turnout most times with a lot of variation. there is actually a few people in the north east. always makes me think that it should be more organised. check out : http://www.section-5.net/forum/ or and more recommended : www.demonvw.co.uk/forum

you know it's not impossible. it's a lot of work but it's feasable. mounts for things would have to be swapped and the whole thing regassed but if you're handy and have a day spare I don't see why not. I've retrofitted it before and it's not that hard. checking it's sealed however is.

radiator doesn't break the bank as well. only about £30 at ecp. run some radweld through it and test it like that for a week.

when he's not stoned he's known to come on. however he does tend to spend too long on posts. Since you're local you should have attended the club polo meet at the baltic the other week. There was many many more lupo's than polo's. It should be renamed. There's also the section five (****s) meet. sunday's at the baltic. That's all I can remember about it. There is some kind of schedule to it.

no offense but Ra's aren't exactly different. I'm having the whole wheel dilemma myself.

check pipes. check radiator. could be an O ring somewhere? on the water pump ? on the thermostat? there's a lot of places it could go. is the cap on the expansion tank knackered? it could be the headgasket. depends how hardcore you drive it to be honest. (least likely) my vote is radiator or or a blow in pipes. you can check the rad by looking for a white crystal like residue which leaking water often leaves.

that's a LOT of oil to use. the only explanation I can come up with if there's no external leakage is that the piston rings are on their way out but on a lupo unless it's done excessive mileage this shouldn't happen. smoke from the exhaust?
