when I laid a laminate floor for one of my friends I painted a giant pantagram and various other satanic things in my own blood because I got bored and managed to stab myself with something. it amused me.

Today I took my one out of my lupo S and installed a GTI one, it's a complete ****** of a job to do and if they're not doing it free that sounds about right at stealership prices for the time and effort required.

it looks good, least we managed the wiring. I'm not done yet though, I will be stealing the lock back and putting yours in, I forgot I'm using the GTI lockset on mine. will come down and sort it sometime. we've still got clones of each other's car. mine is meant to be 60mm all round, I don't think it is.

the aerial isn't any further forward. took a gti bootlid complete with spoiler and put it on a 1.4S yesterday, the aerial was in exactly the same place.

my 1.4 S brakes are great. They're not spongy and they stop the car spot on. I don't have a single complaint. admittedly they're coming off at the weekend, still, hope the new ones are just as good. Rich

I don't, mine scrapes everywhere. Looks good though.

if you look underneath there's two screws, simply remove them (stupid torque bits) and then it'll drop straight out.
