I've drove a lot of cars, inc 1.8 T's, When I was building my GTI I was using an mk2 VR6 as a runabout. after I finished this and jumped in the lupo, I was VERY suprised. The GTI isn't that different in respect of power to weight and the lupo really does take off. go drive one, you'll be amazed at it. I also got 290 miles out of a tank the other day before I had to chuck some more in.

it's obviously not a daily. more of an impractical indulgence showing what the company is capable of. I mean it's a car which demonstrates what they can do, not what they want to do. There's no love, no soul, no serious labour and graft. it's not a cover car.

I've got something, well, slightly non comformist but to be honest every time I look at the thing I see a slightly modified looking standard car. I mean I know that it's not but it is in some respects. just seriously lacking in motivation. Cleaned the it earlier and a five minute trip out later it's black again. seriously de motivational time of the year. not to mention I fancy a bora.

hey matt, much as I love having you about, wouldn't it be easier for you to simply cross the A69 as it's less deadly than the A66 in the winter ? and easier if heading from carlisle.
