  1. Excellent isn't it. style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
  2. Thanks for the pic and part number Chris. I will look into this once I get paid. style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
  3. Hi Chris. Sounds like just the ticket. Not sure how easy removal and fitting is though. Can you advise? A pic and a part number would be very kind of you. Cheers for the speedy reply. Steve
  4. Hi, My gear knob gear pattern (shown on the top) has worn away. I know where my gears are and how to get them but I think it looks nicer if the numbers are showing. Can I get a sticker to put on my current gear knob or will I need a new gear knob? I DO NOT want an after market gear knob. Thanks
  5. lol...that beats the 6 hours that a chap I was told about had achieved. style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />
  6. Not pleasant. I hope he didn't soil your food. Sounds like he didn't like his job....some people eh.
  7. Very classy. Now equal to the Arosa. style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
  8. 'Do you want to go to Watford?' pmsl.
  9. Excellent pics. Some stunning cars on show.
  10. Daihatsu Avanzato TRXXR-4 650cc turbo engine 0-60 in 8 secs and 112mph (if you unrestrict it) Daewoo (or Daepoo) Matiz Turbo. IIRC 1 litre tubby engine.... Those little Charade GTti's (listed above) are mental...and yes...they really do sound like a Porsche. Out of all the cars listed above, only one stands out for me. The Toyota Starlet GT Turbo with the excelletn 4EFE engine and TMIC (top mount intercooler). Reliable, very tunable and real pocket rockets. My 2p
  11. Hi. What does the 'string' do?
  12. From reading all this it sounds like a real head scratcher indeed. Hope it gets sorted for you Rhian.
  13. Very clean example. Cracking number that!

    My new car

These little cars rock when they are lowered and of the euro look deep dish diddy wheels. Very nice
  15. The Veyron isn't the car you've got your eyes on is it Keith? lol
  16. I would have thought the 6 speed box means you can cruise more comfortably on motorway trips in 6th gear at lower revs, perhaps giving you slightly better mpg due to better efficiency of gear usage. But I've never had a 6 speed car before.
  17. Tell me about it.....I have only been driving for 10 and a half years but must have blown thousands upon thousands on cars, maintenance and insurance....I guess we all have to some extent. But it really emphasizes the cost of motoring. The government want to increase car tax and introduce road usage charging so it all puts car ownership into perspective. I guess I've had my fun with fast cars the last 6 years or so....maybe time to put on my sensible trousers and settle with a car suitable to my requirements. Got to get back on the property ladder too.
  18. Ditto here in Dunstable. The good thing is that it's been quite windy too....so no frosts here. The cars have a tiny bit of frost on them but the roads and paths are bone dry.
  19. I'm used to the wind when driving my Dads Micra. Does having A.R.B's fitted help tighten things up in the wind?

    Hellooo

Hi Ben. I'm new myself and I'm looking to switch form my current car to a Arosa 1.4tdi. With regards to insurance, elephant.co.uk might get you a good quote. Them or Admiral (same company and Bell Direct too) will be pretty competitive as they favour younger drivers or drivers with little NCB. The price difference between the insurance groups isn't to bad. The gaps between groups start to get a lot bigger once you get to grp 15 and above IMO..... Are you looking for a 1.0 model?
  21. Useful site. Sometimes it's not updated correctly though.
  22. Most of my cars in the past 6 years have been Japanese performance cars. ( I love them and always will ). I know I can't make use of my current cars full potential. I think the emphasis of cars has changed over the past few years, very much steering towards, practicality, expense and reliability and hence people buy slower cars. A sports car is a luxury I suppose. I love my current car to bits but changing my job means I'm travelling in my car and not sticking my car away in the garage, only to bring it out on sunny weekends such as I currently do. Whilst I'm gutted about selling my GT4 I'm thinking forward and looking to buy an Arosa TDi. It offers all the requirements of my needs and offers reliability, practicality and thats all I need at the moment. So I guess in essence IMO there isn't a need for a sports car....it's a luxury.
  23. Stunning example. Smooth and the wheels rock. I currently have MOMO Corse (black) wheels on my black GT4 and they really suit the car. I think black wheels with a polished rim look great on today's smooth looking cars and they are becoming an evermore popular choice.
