  1. coded looks the nuts =D
  2. Maybe you could take pictures as your doing all this (if you're not) and create a how to thread? I'm sure there will be some other mk1 Arosa kids out there who may find it helpful.
  3. Red was was probably me, I was there last night. Shame i didn't see you two!
  4. Just wondering but do people think its possible to report serious pot holes to the local council to try and get them to do something about them, or are councils more likely to just ignore such correspondence? also, hope you haven't knocked the tracking out or buckled a wheel.
  5. cool, very nice car from what i could see... never seen a Raven blue lupo before... i want =]
  6. My EPC light was coming on and off at random for about a month, the car went into safe mode twice so I took it to a friends garage to have the fault codes read on VAG-com it ended up being "long term fuel/air trim". So I bought a can of throttle body/carb cleaner, gave it an Italian tune up, had the codes cleared and its never been back since the car drives a lot better too. But like you said research on here shows the epc light can come on for many reasons, best of getting the fault codes read before anything else.
  7. Just saw the back end when i was passing a petrol station thats really close to the F Cross VW dealers near Cleethorpes. Looked good and had black rear badges, think you were with some other dubs not too sure was hard to see.
  8. nice line lol smash an ice cube on the bar, followed by "now iv broken the ice can i buy you a drink/wanna dance?"
  9. Yes it can be done, iv looked into it myself. I found this website but haven't looked at it in a while there are loads of different kits have a read through to find one that'll work for the Lupo clicky I remember i found one that would work but for some reason i never got round to ordering it... think it will be a job for me this summer now you've reminded me again! I remember reading on another forum that the kit worked fine but on the wiring diagram it wasn't clear as to how to wire up the part for the windows (and sunroof if you have one) to close. So I'd recommend getting someone professional to wire it up unless you have the skills/confidence to have a bash yourself Hope that helps, and good luck!
  10. Was looking into this as well, not for myself but rather my sister and dad. My sister currently drives a clio which she hates, dad drives a s-reg polo sdi with 140k on the clock... cant be worth more than £500 the state its in. Planted the idea of giving the clio to dad for a work car and scrap in the polo for the £2k off a new smart for2 passion, we used to have an original smart citycoupe which was fun to drive, as good as free to tax, cheap to fill up and never put a foot wrong in all the time we owned it, she wants another and could have it on the road for £9k with lots of toys so thats down to £7k... and thats without any haggling added on. I don't think that it will be that successful as people have pointed out most people with 10+ year old cars aren't in the position to go out and get a new car, but its good for some i suppose!

  18. Hi Jok3r, it was me you spotted! I swear iv seen your Lupo in Dunsville before, with a girl driving it. Could be wrong tho, but the spoiler, letterbox back box and the colour look really familiar. So where abouts are you from?
