My mates lupo gti has a window problem, it goes down but doesn't come up, now it has stuck down. we've tried pulling it, swapping switches, but because its dark we can see much, any help would be great thanks.

yeah i get you lol. the one mitchell has done looks like he's trimmed abit off the bumper so gonna try it his way when i eventually do it probs next jan time :\ bummer

the car is looking boss mate, planning on doin a 3L conversion when i get my car, is it basically a straight swap then with just a bit of trimming to get it to fit.. sorry if thats an annoying question, i'm feeling starlites or tangis alloys with that conversion when i do it aha

Cheer's Boss I can understand that mate, but thats where a tad bit of common sense comes in with me lol, plus all my mates do this stuff to there cars so i can just ask them for silly little things lol, same with suspension my bro is helpin me fit my coilovers (when i get my carr lol :S )

what is needed to do the swap then?

well i will only stick it on coilovers till i can afford to do the rest and will tell them about that because i am one of thoes people who gets done for everyhting just by chance lol (bad times) ye i'll be doin most of the stuff after i leave college because i should have a better payin job then

is it possible (if i got hold of the whole front end) to convert a standard front end to a 3L is it just the bumper and grille or is it like the whole front end?? Cheers sam

this will be over a year period hopefully little mods that shouldnt cost much but make a big difference So leave the insurance to me matey

cheer's mate, yeahh a tdi seem's good idea like tax wise aha, what is insurance like on them, oh and what is a decent amount of brake to be running from them? when i get it i wanna make it real OEM got plans lined up for the interior and wheels{14" VW tangis OR starlite(; } just need the engine covered... lol cheer's sam

it would be over time so i'd need to do thing whilst driving it if you get me, what work would be needed to put a 1.9tdi turbo on it ? like manifold,pistons,conrods ect..

couldn't a decent induction kit give it a tincy wincy bit more power, apparently the viper induction kits are good. 'wonder if it could be addapted for a diesil'

could the 1.4tdi engine be tuned to 140bhp ?? is it possible and what are the cost's to get sommat like that or even about 120bhp?

i was thinkin of a bike can on a 1.0 loop, worth a shot just do a bodge and then if it sounds good neaten/do it properly
