  1. Drivers (rhd) stubby manual adjust wing mirror. Original VW item and probably the first mod I did back in the day. Back plate, cover, glass everything to swap over from the full size mirror to one the same size as the passenger side. Ordered through Hayseldens VW Doncaster. I loved the fact I had this and it was being kept to go on my next lupo, which never came (I know tiny violin, right?) Obviously cap to be sprayed or wrapped in whatever floats your boat. I believe the name of the colour was flash red?? Only a scratch to the paint which will flatten out; no breaks to the glass or cap. It was parked down a VERY narrow driveway. Collection from Doncaster No idea on price - £60? (adding up the first glass, base and cap I found on ebay for a lupo/arosa)
  2. Four MIM deepdish alloy wheels (6J x14 et25) 4x100 pcd. Loved these on my lupo over a decade ago; however it's now become apparent I'll not be getting a raven blue gti with factory leather and a/c in this lifetime so its time to let them go! All straight wheels but 100% in need of refurbishment and priced accordingly. Wheels located in Doncaster, collection only. £120
  3. Five VW Teardrop alloy wheels (6J x14 et38) 4x100 pads. Originally bought as a set of four from ebay then my local tyre fitters had one on the wall as a "before" example of the company they used for wheel refurbishment. All straight wheels but 100% in need of refurbishment and priced accordingly. There are four centres covers. Photo is of the one I "refurbed" myself back in the day in white as I thought it would look cool on my red 1.4s with white badges. 😅 The rest are what I believe to be the original finish. Wheels located in Doncaster, collection only. £150
  4. Pretty much followed you through the car park (props on getting over the speed bumps!) At 18:30 today (29/12/2014) Looked good just slammed on Bathurst but then again it was pretty dark ?
  5. The rears are in perfect condition. The only negative to the fronts is the several red squares that are missing on the drivers seat base front, I only noticed these when I took the pictures lol. I'm after 175 collected or will post at your expense. Cheers
  6. Yeah I have some lupo GTI fronts and the cloths for the rears, which is just a straight swap with your rear seat cloth.

I've got a GTI interior for sale if you're still searching? PM me if your interested
  8. Hi all, Sorry for the inactivity. I know most of the people who previously showed interest will have obtained the items they wanted through other avenues but all items are still for sale. The seats and suspension are collection only from Doncaster less than 5mins from junction 4 of the M18. Cash on collection or PaPpal. The wing mirror is £45 posted. PayPal only. PM me if interested and I'll check for PM's every evening. Cheers
  9. Right then, sorry its taken me so long to get back to you all! The only bad points I can on the seats would be a few missing dark squares off the front of the drivers side seat base, as well as some tiny damage to the plastic base of the passenger seat. But you can see for yourself, I didn't know there was any squares missing from my seat until i took the pictures and you cant see the damaged to the passenger seat when its in the car. Drivers seat Passenger seat Mirror I've not included any pictures of the rear seats or the headrests as they are all in near mint condition. By all means ask if you really must have pictures and I'll get some up Wednesday. I'll also show the buyer how to fit the rear cloths if you don't know how as they can be a bit of a ball ache the first time you do them. I'll try to make time to clean the coil overs up on Wednesday after work and get pictures up of those then. I'll email larger pics to those who have already asked me too and will do to anyone else who wants a better look. Thanks, Tom.
  10. Hi guys sorry for no replies and I havn't had chance to get pictures on. Had abit of a family emergency but I'll get home on Friday some time, so I will have pictures of everything up on Saturday and sort out go has first call on items as i have some personal messages about afew items! thanks for being patient.
  11. I'm selling my black and red GTI seats as I'm going to be getting rid of my lupo over the summer so I'm putting it back to standard (ish). Includes both driver and passenger seats in very good condition and the cloths to cover the rear seats which look as though they have never been sat in. I can show the buyer how to change over the rear covers if needs be. Also included are four matching hoop headrests £175 Fk high sports, fully adjustable coil-over set. Been on the car for about 30k miles, Off-side front shocker has leaked but been told my cousin (fully trained Mercedes mechanic) that it is repairable. The rest is fine so would be perfect for spares or repairs if you're capable. £150 Stubby drivers side wing mirror, base plate, mirror cap, glass and the adjuster cables, all you need to just undo the bolt inside and bolt this on, the cap is in flash red but has a scratch on it so ideally would need a respray, if any one wants it in flash red I have a can of touch up that I can do it with. £40 Located in Doncaster, DN7 less than 5 minutes from Junction 4 of the M18, Collection only. PM if you want pictures and I'll get some taken on Saturday. Thanks for looking and if you have any questions just ask. Edited topic title.
  12. I take Tesco's own non drowsy tablet and any brand of citirizin, a nasal spray and eye drops. Its worked wonders for me since I started using all four, and can feel the difference from waking up to 20 minutes after taking it all in a morning. I know if you have it really bad can perform a steroid injection at the start of the hay-fever season that could last anything from all year to just a couple of weeks but it tends not to get prescribed that often now my Doctor tells me due to the side affects of steroids.
  13. That leather wrapped bonnet sounds interesting! On how low you can go, check the how-to's for a thread on modding the chassis for serious lowering. Lowering the rear suspension, the lowest of the low tend to get coil overs and just throw away the rear adjusters and cable tie the spring to stop them bouncing off. wheel sizes that will look good and be usable are obviously dependent on how low you are, getting the arches pulled/rolled/modding the arch liner and how far you're willing to go in terms of tyre stretch. and common problems i can think of are the peddle box, with its issues of the welds snapping and hanging low, think it ends up resting on the clutch cable (it did in my case) so until i found Club Lupo i didn't know what was up and i had ruined my clutch. Door hinge movement could be attributable to the check strap There are more informed and knowledgeable people on the site than me, but just use the search function and you'll have most of your answers soon enough.
  14. I've wanted one to replace my lupo with for a while, but due to being in my last year of University studying hard and then working after hours its hard to getting around to looking at one! Think it may have to be a present to myself come end the end of May when exams are over and I'll be doing even more miles! I have to say I think they look pretty cool too A good little read Putney and Fow Vay.
  15. My Dad had a 6n, a 1.9diesel. Totally bullet proof little car, maintained it ourselves very easy to find parts for. but it was never tarted up as it was a car to get him to work and back. By the time we sold it to a second hand car parts dealer (for more than we would have got for it selling it private!) it had covered 170k and the engine and gearbox were the most solid things still left in the car. But i agree with you the 6n2, can look awesome with some very minor mods.
  16. Yeah I'd love to do that too, looked into information about it, the engines a rather heavy lump and extremely tall. and like you say its got to be from a golf GT as the other VW's with a 1.4 tsi are single charger and not the double charger unit. But if were talking ridiculous engine transplants its got to be a w8 in the back. If Petar can make his twin vr6 Lupo work (and work very well at that) I'm sure someone given time/knowledge/money/space can make the W8 work. Probably would be a bit of a hippo, but id love to own one just for the shear spectacle of it!
  17. I've got three demijohns worth of plum wine now bottled up and sat under my bed waiting for the big holiday =D
  18. Have it body styled to look like a little brother to the w12 650 gti, but have a 4.0 w8 put in the back with a rotrex conversion or something of that flavor with full time 4wd system, it'd be something random and totally unique (hopefully!)
  19. I live in Doncaster, 85% of it is a **** hole, and its the people that make the place like it unfortunatly. There are some nice areas around the outside but comming back home after living in sheffield for 2 years for university i just hate being back in the town! alought with my mates a night out is always a good laugh!

haha I heard this the day it was broadcast, Nice find.
  21. No wheels Im afraid. But modifications are limited only by your imagination, the money in your bank, and your technical skill if you're doing them yourself buddy. Just do what you want and think things through before you go ahead with things as you may end up regretting it if you don't! Good luck with the wheel hunt and the modifications! Tom
  22. I went to the Bakewell show on Thursday and parked at the nearest "car park" which turned out to be a field, and parked in amongst the Land rovers and Hilux's. Anyway on my way thought the car park towards the show/town saw a tidy black sport with Ronal turbos, looked pretty standard but didn't get much of a chance to look around, my girlfriend hates it =p
  23. agreed, i love the F40ish exhaust pipes.
  24. And on some later Spitfires they had a twin stage supercharger so even MOAR POWWWWRRR
