  1. Pretty sure they are a vw wheel designed to fit the Lupo it was the et43 that have it away for me. They even have the correct tyre size on
  2. Yes. What wheels are they? Seem very similar to standard alloy http://www.willtheyfit.com/index.php?width=175&aspect=65&diameter=13&wheelwidth=5.5&offset=43&width2=185&aspect2=55&wheel_size=14&wheel_width=6&offset2=40
  3. Sorry if I came across a bit blunt is it just your rear tyres scraping or the fronts as well? You shouldn't be scraping with three fingers gap unless you have really small fingers or you're holding your hand horizontal were your coilovers brand new or second hand? What size wheels and tyres have you put on?
  4. Welcome and yes one of the most done conversions, check the how to section
  5. Bump stops will not work, they do what they say, stop bumps. And just exactly how low are you? You're saying in the first paragraph that's it's expected with extremely low cars and in the second you're saying you aren't that low. You will fail your mot if they can't drive it onto the ramps. Do not buy stretched tyres, you wouldn't by shoes to small for your feet would you. Depending on the specs of your wheels you need a smaller side wall of the tyre. My standard 6"x14" were 185/55/r14 I now have 7"x15" and as a result I use 195/45/r15 tyres which are 10mm wider but critically have 10% less sidewall height. My suggestion is to wind your coil overs up to a height you don't scrub at until you can sort out some low profile tyres of the correct width.

    New Guy

Welcome, What bits do you need due to wear and tear?
  7. This is borderline acceptable joey! Having said that I either use my audi as a van or a van work give me for work. That's a ford transit connect, it's a long wheel base, skezza will vouch as nice as it looks it's Barry white, it's cheap inside despite the dab radio, air con, cruise control, heated seats and mirrors and front screen, yes alright it's the top spec but my god the plastics are so cheap! And it's got no room and it's got no torque and it's got no steering lock and if anything ever runs into the back of me "all that stuff is replacing your spine" is how skezza phrased it! But shouldn't moan it is free oh and worst of all the seats play hell with my back
  8. Drove past the nursery just off the small chell roundabout and saw you parked up, Cambridge rears, cookie monster sticker in the rear window, y reg
  9. More Updates Only two little things this time, got rid of that ugly stupid alarm flashy thing and replaced it with a blank And sorted out my engine cover at long last
  10. Truth be told I've never found the difference, suppose the next step is to try a known working switch in the passenger location, is it either side controlling the passengers that won't bring it up or just the passengers side control? After that it's get a multi meter out and bell out cables
  11. Make sure they're the correct ones, there is an a and a b, the drivers side can be either but the two passengers switches need to be different, an a and a b
  12. The switches are a common problem, how do you get the window back up? Drivers switch I'm guessing
  13. Why dash out? And sell me those curbed alloys they ruin the look!
  14. It's just the air con fan, no coolant hoses the fan literally fixes to the back of the rad I think
  15. Yes that's what I was fearing it decided to die last week with a big clunk detaching itself from the motor shaft
  16. Alvaro? I'll have to see how it's wired. Yeh basically it's an a6 Quattro with air suspension, I need to replace the auxiliary fan, the 210mm one, and it's a pain in the arse by the looks of things. The n/s/f suspension bag wasn't to bad to change though.
  17. Thanks rich, I'll have a look around for the light sensor, that's the one that sits in the front vent isn't it? Nobody makes a kit for the allroad but goodridge did a special order from etka drawings and have made the fittings from stainless. Have you ever worked on an allroad? If so can I quiz you please?
  18. Not the best pictures in the world but im not opening them for a picture brand new unopened chrome sill guards
  19. Did you paint it yourself Dan?
  20. 3) if you message rich he will be able to shed more light on this! 7) I know it will fit but I'm not sure how much work it needs, either way changing a dash is a big job!
  21. 3) you will be able to use your current pedal box and pedals 6) I'm sure there is an existing 4-2-1 manifold there are several around from different makes 7) I think the polo dash was slightly wider, and has a glove box, but doesn't your Lupo have a glovebox?
  22. 3) yes 5) no 6) no 7) yes with some work 9) you could get it remapped if you wanted to spend the money
