  1. In a car as small as an Arosa/Lupo there's no point in having rear speakers, its just extra headache for not a lot (if any) benefit.
  2. Standard size is 16.5" & they aren't that bad tbh, you're definately better off leaving them in than trying to fit 13cm ones.
  3. BRAAAAAAAAAAAAAPPPPPPPPPPPPPP!!!!!!
  4. I'll have a look into that later on, as long as the current bolt aren't too long then I'll be fine to use them then (as long as they are radial & not tapered)?
  5. ^^^^ Do you mean use the bolts I've got now?
  6. Are you blind? Read again what you've quoted above!
  7. 8 days?! Longest I've had to wait with HSBC was 3 days & they're the best Ive dealt with by a long shot.
  8. Anyone know what size/thread etc bolts are needed for steel rims? Was planning to get my G60's on tomorrow but have realised I've only got the alloy wheel bolts
  9. If you need to defrost use luke warm water, or for want of a better description piss-warm! You're only going to run into trouble if you use very hot or boiling water, also slowy pour it down the glass from top to bottom rather than just throwing it all over
  10. All warranties supplied by Apple, O2 are not involved with the units bar the fact it is on their network (you can use any O2 sim). Yes it is still relatively expensive, however you do realise that most networks actually loose money on most phones supplied on contracts even when you 'pay' for them? The networks take the gamble that they will make money from calls or texts above & beyond those supplied FOC with the contract. Prime example: Nokia N95 given away free on most contracts, cost price direct from Nokia (not consumer price) is £282+ vat, most 12 month contracts will just about cover the cost of the phone (depending on the deal). They then need to supply all the free calls & texts each month, how much do they actually make? Not a lot is the answer, hence the reason why networks are all changing to 18 month contracts.
  11. It's official, I'll explain it tomorrow though as I cant be arsed to do it tonight. The obvious reason they dont plaster it all over the websites is that they want to get you tied into an 18 month contract
  12. ^^^^ Quality bit of kit, Im guessing your on Vodafone?
  13. You may be able to get out of it due to non-delivery of service on their part, i.e. you're paying for a gym you cant use due to them not providing enough equipment.
  14. If your in your first month you should have a 'cooling off' period, check the small print & then contact their customers services to try & resolve the situation.
  15. It's certainly not as easy as 'pressing the wrong button' to offer a 2nd chance on an item so the seller knew damn well what they were doing, why would you want him to send the money back to you though? If he sends you the item minus the bits you dont want, you can then send him the extra money by Paypal & he can swallow their charges as its not your fault. Obviously if the guy goes walk about with your money you wont get the item but you can claim it back through paypal, it will take a little while but it does work (I've done it twice).
  16. Been playing with them more & more, & if Im honest Im liking them more & more too. I still have my gripes about the hardware specifications & a couple of oversights with regards to the software, but Im sure they'll have it all sorted next time round + Im certain Apple & O2 will have leant their lesson when it comes to trying change the way an entire industry operates.
  17. Well its official, the I-phone was not the success it was hyped to be, the proof of this today being the introduction of the unit into the dealer & distribution channels (due to overstocking & low sales figures). Whilst there are thousands of grey market non-warrantied stock available we are just one of many companies to have taken delivery of our first batch of UK fully warrantied units...... Sim free! The units are still on the O2 network but you dont have to buy a contract with them! If you are already on O2 you will be able to buy a phone, slot in your O2 PAYG or contract sim & it will retain full functionality & all of the manufacturer warranties! Dont expect units to be cheap at around the £450-£500 mark (minimum) to the public, however it can still work out a lot cheaper than being stuck on the 18 month contract package, especially if you like to change your phone every 12 months - By which time the 2nd generation I-phone should be out. Expect to start seeing them at your local independants very soon.
  18. Seems to be a lot of people getting tempted by the Mk5 Tdi's lately, cant say that Im not one of them either
  19. I must be missing something here, were the later ones a different shape?
  20. LMFAO at this thread. Worst one I've heard... 'They're old enough when they leave school, and they finish at 3.30'!
  21. Might see if I can wangle some tickets off the lads for Hed Kandi @ the O2, first time in 6yrs I wont have been Dj'ing myself on New Years!
