  1. oh my I love it! thank you very much!
  2. oh and if your feeling fancy could you do one as they are, and one with the centers colour coded
  3. I know its not a lupo but you guys are the best photoshoppers these are 14" and the wheels on atm are 16"... make of that as you will, could someone please lower it untill the arch is just over the lip of the alloy please. thanks
  4. Oh yeah, didn't even think of a pedal box and selector rods tbh, is it fantasia green and has less than 70,000 miles by any chance?
  5. Hmm ok thanks, I'm guessing the gear box would use all the same connections as a manual box, so shouldn't be too hard once I find a manual box, a manual would be lighter aswell? Haha
  6. No one with an automatic? :/
  7. Has anyone here had any experience with an automatic lupo? are the gear boxes good? and failing that, how hard would it be to take the automatic box out and put in a manual one? in a 1.4 non sport. cheers, Adam.
  8. Love this! So what all have you done to the exhaust now? Just cut baffles out?
  9. The rotating centre caps was the first thing I thought of when I seen the new wheels! But I was thinking, won't that send the whole wheel out of balance?
  10. Thanks! by the gutters are you talking about the roof gutters? And how do I check the door straps? What is it about them I'm looking for? Ah yes I've heard about this, and paint flaking off in the arches? If the pedal box has failed how would I know? Does it feel clunky? Is there more resistance than normal? And thanks I'll look out for the doors
  11. When going to view a lupo for sale what are some key points to look at? Just so I know if it's in good condition, are there any things that wear out faster if it has been raced about abit? Cheers, Adam.
  12. probably been asked and answered before but i'm lazy, what type of steels are those? they look mint!
  13. They look really nice! haha
  14. That is sweet! Bags is definetly more an option now I know more about it, 5 more questions then I'll leave you in peace! 1. What air kit fits the lupo? 2. Do you get everything in the kit? (switches, tank, compressor) 3. If you got it installed by a professional, then wanted to change the gauges (or a different component) could you easily do it yourself? 4. Does it pass M.O.T no bother? 5. Do you have to run with alloys that have loads of tuck or can you have them flush and not ruin your arches when you put it down? Thanks so much!
  15. ah, thats handy enough then, and when you have 150psi or your 175psi in the tank, you can just use it to fill the bags? i imagine it would drain the tank filling all four bags though? also, can you have all four bags independently controlled? I feel like such a noob :/
  16. so anytime your car is turned on, your compressor is on? on as in it is making a pile of noise? can you not fill the tank, then fill the air bags from it, then when it runs out turn the compressor on? sorry im a noob so i'm probably being stupid lol
  17. I don't think it's a 16v (havnt bought it... Yet) and any searches I've done for engine mods they have been on 16v's, it is advertised as a 2004 1.4S, it doesn't have a 16v badge on the back though. Anyway, long winded questions aside, what engine mods can be done to a 1.4 and a 1.4 16v (just incase) is it the usual induction kit, and maybe chipped, what else? Cheers and expect more dumb questions in the future xD
  18. Those photos are sexual! Very nice man!
  19. I thought cutting the springs was illegal?
  20. Wow! Lucky! Good way to lower it though!
  21. I will try to arrange a date to go and see it, have a proper look at it, I'll remember to look out for those spots, Silver I'd say he would go down on price just to get rid of it (bright yellow not everyone's cup of tea) and then I could get him down more on the service bit so I'll see how it goes
  22. I phoned him today, something interesting came up when I asked him about a service history, he said at 35,000 miles it hasn't reached its service mileage (never having owned a lupo I will have to take his word on this, maybe you guys could shed some light on the service mileage?) but I would have thought it would have been serviced every year, this is making me cautious, if I buy it then get it serviced and VW then **** me right up the backside for something that is wrong, I don't know what but its one of those "I know it'll happen to me if I do it" situations lol Also it does have powersteering, doesn't have central locking (don't know if any of them did) When I asked him where he was located, he said the car was in one place, but they were based in another place (trade seller not a private sale) there's an awful lot of things dodgy about this deal but at those low miles it's hard to refuse
  23. They are asking for £1900 which I actually thought was steep as I've seen so many at below £1300 I am going to ring tomorrow to ask for more details. Am I right in saying that not all Lupo's have power steering? Or was that only before a certain year?
