I have the same problem, without the fuel pump bit. Passenger door is fine but the drivers door doesn't register. I think it's buried deep in the door somewhere, if anyone has pics it would be helpful.

I whipped mine off cos I thought it looked better, left with some slight discolouration but nothing major. Probably get it out with some polish when I get the time. Screwed on? I bet that was a surprise!

I think I'll start with the sharkfin aerial and an interior light change to a blue colour. Might try out the LED footwells if I get brave!

I suppose there are only so many angles to get the Lupo from, it's only wee! Mine looks more shiny though! Still not sure about changing the rear lights. I'll need to take a look through my insurance as it's not worth £350 to have different lights!

Same with me, also means the buzzer doesn't go off if you leave the headlights on.

Yup, probably should of done a quick Googling first! Looks good. Also saw some toothpaste related ones. Between using dental floss to debadge and toothpaste to clean lights it should leave any car minty fresh!

I thought about getting some Arosa rear lights, would love to see some photos of how it looks. I got a black leather, red stitch gear gator from ebay for about £7. Looks really good.

Looks good man. Great photos of the process. I was thinking about doing a few of these myself so it really helps. Was is easy enough to get the plastic strips off the exterior doors? That's first on the list for me I think.

I have a similar issue with my drivers door lock. I can unlock, but it wont lock. I have to turn it like I'm trying to lock it then do the push the botton down while pulling the handle trick. Any help would be appreciated. Ta!

He's got a whole workshop, not sure the exact techniques involved but I know he has a special tool for burning stuff kind of like a mini soldering iron type thing. Not sure if he can do leather but I'll ask him cos that would look pretty smart! I'll see if he can price them up, he makes quite a lot of craft type stuff for sale so this could be another wee thing for his catalog! I'll let you know.

I'm 29 but just passed my test. Did the usual compare the market thing then called the cheapest one directly. Went with Admiral, 0 NCD, got it for just under a grand for my 2001 1.0E in the centre of Glasgow. Roll on next year when I'm 30 and hopefully got some no claims!

Evening All! Just got my dad to make me a custom wooden VW keyring! It's a little wooden disc with the logo burnt into it. What do you all rekon, should I get him to start mass producing them so you can all have one. I'm sure he'll do you all a good deal!

I bought my entire Lupo for a few quid more than that! Quite fancy getting some new alloys for mine, but I'll wait till I stop kerbing it first as I only past my test a few weeks ago.
