  2. yes, c pillar covers are different. I would be able to post.
  3. its not rivnuts, it's clinch nuts. fairly expensive to buy the kit to do that so best if you can find someone local that has the kit and give them a couple of quid for the clinchnuts and you need the C pillar trim as you wont be able to close the window properly but i have a full kit that i'm selling.
  4. yes you keep the side pockets. as koop says, its a direct fit and all good to fit in
  5. I know there is already 1 topic about them but are they worth anything as I have one in the garage....at the very back and wondered if i should dig it out to sell or leave as is until i get there? and any advice on the price...? cheers Lewis
  6. EDL, sublimminal message? lol sorry bad joke.

  8. cheers silver, a lad was needing a set and would like to help him out but without the use of reply function on the classifieds then i would not be able to help. if i can't then I will put a for sale ad up. thanks
  9. Hi Guys, I was wondering if anyone can help. There was a lad needing the 3 grills from the mk2 arosa. a few folk said that they were welded onto the bumper etc but I have all 3 grills off the bumper and no cutting etc was required. The 3 grill bits are for sale ie the two small bits onto the bumper and the grill with badge in it. cheers lewis 07794159384
  10. also if you had the car sitting for a few months the old petrol would go stale and choke up everything inside the fuel system. I would keep running and get new fuel asap.
  11. I love they way in which you constructed your sentences. Magic. Anyways take the air box off and if everything moves ok and the revs go as normal then I wouldn't worry to much but I would order the part ie ebay etc. what size engine do you have as I might have the bit here for you to try (i'm breaking loads of stuff the now)
  12. a honing tool, scraper rings rocker gasket, oil, after you have run the car for a few 100 miles you would want to change the oil to get rid of contamination in the oil
  13. hi guys, no faults on dash and never has, the gearbox has never had any problems and doenst either nice and sweet/smooth gear change and is a 1.4 16v so is the 75hp model. the mods have been renault rsi alloys, and the pop out windows, a couple of dings but nothing serious, car park stuff but form what you say then, just looks like run of the mill money going to put it up for sale soon as i got too many car and not enough time so got to release it been a brilliant car aswell
  14. aye koop, i thought it was for the full thing rather than just the cover as you say £15 is going money just now. but you should still open a dispute as its not correct for your car unless the guy refunds you.
  15. I am thinking about selling my lupo, 2000 reg and has 91k on the clock and just had the water pump and timing belts changed. lovely wee first car. It is in white!!! I know these fetch a fair price but realistically what is the average price for one with the usual marks and wear and tear around the body work??? cheers lewis
  16. dont get me wrong, he has sold you the wrong item, that is a normal one thought you were buying. Complain to the guy and open a dispute but on the other hand he doesn't mention on his ad that it is a stubby and I know for a fact that u would not get a stubby for that price.... you pay £30 plus for one.
  17. buy another set of switches or politely ask another forum member who is near you to swap switches for a trial to see if it is the fault and if so job done, you know what to do but motors etc for £400!!!! are they gold plated for that! more like £200 if its for brand new items and fitting as it takes 30 mins max for 1 side. but as you say both motors going at the same time is weird and the only electrical thing in the footwell is the sensor for the passenger airbag, but wouldn;t thought this would make a difference.
  18. sounds like someone has put for instance a 1.0 gearbox on your 1.4. when im at 70, im at 3000rpm, mine is standard and i know it. 3750 seems rather high
  19. paint? or one of those wheel whore stickers lol
  20. some one would buy it to detune it and pump it out the door and make a fortune on it... who would know its the same car a week later.
  21. i told my mum to scrap my lupo! not to put it back in the garage huh! wumin!!!! lol only kidding that is nice wish my white one looked like that!
  22. i will be going down to this but to pick up a set of seats. if i make good time then will have a wonder round and see bits and bobs

    Air lift

air ride is always adaptable, its the initial purchase that puts folks off. you can buy just the struts for your car if you decide to change car and reuse it all. Aswell with a good kit you can also add to it later on with ride height sensors etc. do not go for a 4 way system on a lupo as it has a live rear beam and a waste of time.
  24. get a bit of tape put it on the wing as close to the repeater, then get a screwdriver and prise off. it will go. even if you break it, there are loads out there at the scrap yard and i have a spare pair here. ps grease round the seal would be a good idea since there is moisture in there.
