an old fix in mk2 golfs was to cable tie up the catch - fine as long as you dont crash lol -

been in a g40 with 200bhp and that was frightening and a corrado with 300bhp so was that! i even think i would not get into your car it must be awesome - good work!! -
i`d be interested in the boot side carpets if you wanted to sell them

mine had snapped the wires leading to the reverse switch - it is on the gearbox £4-ish for new plug and wires

gutted i`d of been up for this if i`d known but im workin -
i got Maxxis MA-Z1 for £50 a corner fitted at a black circles fitter, they seem fine so far

black hole or any glaze will fill the spiderwebs before you put on your protection ie sealant/wax - it wont get rid of them like polishing will, albeit hard work by hand
