I've got Schrick cams in my rosa sport, along with a few other mods its giving 123bhp. However the cams I have aren't very aggressive, they are the Schrick 256 cams.

What size is the bolt ? It's so easy to do amhelicoil not sure why you was charged £50 for that ..

It's a quick little car but by no means do the cams feel aggressive .. It's ideal as a daily though .. Wasn't sure if they did a few different profiles like Newman do with the ph2/ph3 etc .. Nah I got it off a guy in Birmingham 12 months ago and he had owned it for about 6 years

Hi guys .. I've got a mk2 arosa sport It's had quite abit of engine work done and has Schrick 256 cams.. Does anybody know of a supplier for Schrick cams in the uk ? I'm getting a little bored of the car now and want to spice it up abit but don't want to go down the route of ITB's or charging yet so was wondering if there was a hier lift cam available than tha 256 ? Anybody able to help info would be great cheers

I got 123bhp out of my arosa sport.. That's with Schrick cams, ported head, 4-1 manifold, decat and full system, lightened and balanced flywheel, CDA and a remap.. Goes well for a 1.4 .. Pretty quick low down ran a 15.9 at pod last year not warp speed I know but awesome fun !

The quote 'custom' was used with 'custom code' the name of the company that remapped the car. As joe explains below stages are sh*t. Companies tend to use stages to 'fool' uneducated car modifiers I suppose so that they keep going back for the next stage. It's just a way of keeping people coming back for more hence giving the companies more business .

Not really done much driving in mine since changing the sensor , it seems to have made a little bit of a difference although not the difference I was hoping for .. Looks like its gonna be the lambda on mine.

Just changed this temp sensor.. lets see if that makes a difference

If this sensor is his problem then surely temp gauge wouldnt move on the dash ? I have similar problem with high consumption but want to try rule out things before it gets too expensive .. my temp gauge still works.

Yeah I guess it is a waste, but its wicked fun to drive any hot hatch with more than twice that power out of the box will be a bigger engine car and only being 20 it rapes me on insurance the money thats been spent on the arosa could of got me a S4 but the insurance is a no go unfortunately

I get 140miles untill my fuel light comes on.. Thats on a 123bhp arosa sport.. always use v-power or tesco momentum aswell. My driving is 20 mile round trip each day to work and 15 miles of that is motorway. Engine management light is on but id put that down to the mods, and ime geussing it needs a couple of new lambdas and a good service!

Peek is good use it on all the shiny bits of our race cars

I've been told it won't fail with a airbag light on as I've got the same problem, airbag light us on due to having buckets and a OMP wheel .. So nothing in the plugs

Such a Fiddly job !! Took me a good couple of hours although throttle feels much nicer and smoother now !

180 if you give it stick in a gti !? I only get 150 till the lights on in my arosa sport however I drive it ... Gotta love schrick cams !

I run shell v power in my arosa sport and occasionally stick 10 Ltrs of 100 octane race fuel in from work just to help clean inside the engine. Using vpower over any other 98ron I get about a extra 10-15 miles till my fuel light comes on .. Also on the note of fuel how many miles do you get from a full tank to your fuel light coming on ?

Saw you yesterday i was in the yellow arosa sport on my way back from Rockingham , guess you had been edition. Added a little entertainment to my drive home that's for sure !
