  1. Yeah it's a common thing to happen to it
  2. Post the spec of the speakers you are, or are planning on, running and folk will be able to help out
  3. On the rear there will only be a single adjuster. That's normal
  4. 6x9's suck ass IMO. Get a decent set of comps for the back as well as a set up front and it'll sound much better. All opinion though, try get a listen to some 6x9's and see what you think of them.
  5. Common issue. Sucks balls but raise that side of the suspension a bit if you got a full tank a lot, otherwise don't brim it haha
  6. I think it's the same but not sure. If it was me I'd phone vw and ask for the part number for both then compare.
  7. Thanks man means a lot, especially from a guy with the calibre of car as yours!!!! Cheeeeers!!!
  8. Not trying to be an asshole but it will look shocking on 13's if you only lower it 40mm. For 13's you need to be borderline undriveably low, go for 15's with that drop
  9. All taped up with 3m masking tape And into the garage for the polish, big up to my dad for making entry possible with his home made ramps haha Polisher used was the DAS6 Pro with all menzerna pads and polished. Initial shots after the first stage with menzerna 500 on a cutting pad: Gotta love beads! After the second and third stage for refinement using finishing polished and pads: Any polish residue was taken care of with asdas finest cotton buds Windows dressed with AF glass cleaner using the dodo juice mint merkin. Awesome appicator as i always found MF's to be gash. Then back out the garage after using Auto finesse tough prep (applied by machine with a finishing pad) and then Auto finesse tough coat (applied with autglym HD was foam applicator): Tyres dressed with meguiers endurance gel after a scrub with auto finesse APC (applied with a stiff brush). Gel wiped off instantly to give a matte finish: All trim cleaned using AF APC with a siff brush and buffed with MF, AF trim revive (works awesome after APC!!). Lake country detailing sticks to get in all the tiny bits In the SECC doing all the last minute preps!! Leather dreassed with DR Leather leather cleaner: And the final product (all pic's stolen from facebook haha) And one from SVAG Cheers for reading
  10. Thought i'd stick the write up of the SCS detail i did How it looked at the start: Started off with the wheels: Brake dust was glued on so used menzerna 1200 polish: Along with Megs nxt all metal polish for the dishes: Onto the centre caps, these were a bit of a bitch cos they're alu and not stainless...still came up awesome with the megs polish though Before: After: Then onto the actual car...jetwashed, foamed with valetpro ph neutral snow foam via karcher hd lance, jetted again: Bay steamed and polished with menzerna: Then to start prepping the paint for the machine polish... Car cleaned using two bucket method, carpro cquartz wool wash mitt, chemical guys glossworkz shampoo and then Paint de-ironed with Iron-X (sprayed on, rubbed in with MF towel, left for 5 minutes for it to turn from purple to red, rubbed off with clean MF then jetwashed). Wiped down then foamed again De-tarred with autosmart tardis. Any last contaminants were taken care of with the bilt hamber soft clay bar. Awesome bar as it doesnt need clay bar lube, just water Car then snowed and shampood using 2BM again...almost ready for polish!
