any noticable difference from doin the smoothing? just wondering cos although i do love the sound of my pipercross filter i want to put the airbox back on as you can feel it lagging lower down.

you could try smoothing all the ribs out of the box as well, should give a bit of improvement with regards to airflow. thought about doing this me self. anyone done it before?

hey guys has anyone got a picture of the back of the circuit board in the central locking keys? think ive got something missing from mine that may have dropped out cos its stopped working! just under where the two chips are is there supposed to be a resistor or something? any help would be rgeat thanks guys .

id give them a ring and see what information you can get out of them. Thats the same engine as yours i presume just confirm the engine code with them to confirm that its the same kind as yours. should just be a straight swap after that doesnt take long at all. if youve got a friendly mechanic you could probs get it fitted for 2-300 quid easily. that engine is still in the car as well so shouldnt b a problem to hear it running or have a clip of it running sent to you. i have used that ebayer before as well for parts for my first clio, very nice guys there who helped me out a great deal with regards to finding parts for the clio.

mines the same, but its no where near as bad as what my lowered mk2 clio was like! that used to skip out when you pushed it hard, but it wasnt just skittish it used to whip its ass out! got to learn to control it and i loved it in the end used to be like a mini drift! got used to the lupos skittish rear pretty easy compared!

took me and my girlfriend in my mothers brand new corsa for a test drive n ended up at john o groates! no bull! shes was well riled when i got back and the car had clocked over 900 miles! haha! was driving all weekend i loved it!

you never really can gain much in performance on small capacity n/a engines through a generic chip, best of getting a full custom remap once youve carried out mods and then go back for it remapping everytime you add an additional performance part on to your engine to make the most of it.

1.8 astra sri and corsa 1.8 sri, not much of an achievement tho if im honest neither of them could drive for s**t!

con rods, pistons, con rod bolts, dont know if it had an uprated crank in it, lightened flywheel, dunno if a performance clutch was in as well. think cams may have been in there dont hold me to that though! thats all i can remember!

just a standrad lotus elise then though isnt it, a lupo with a turbo on is your own, prefer to make my car my own than buy some run of the mill car which everyone else has. standing out is the meaning of modifying your car to make it personal to yourself! thats why i do it anyways!
