JoeA
Not sure if to laugh or to find it offensive.Laugh it off, My dad used to work there for a few months at a time. Said its pretty scary when you're doing 80 on the motorway and a horse and cart appears infront of you. lowrider
Legally, nobody is allowed to take a horse and a cart on the motorway. But who knows...Anyway, let's stick to the topic - my blue loop.
lowrider
Hey guys, Now that spring is finally here, it's time for some new stuff for my Lupo. I found some relatively cheap rims...talked with the guy selling them and if he doesn't get a better offer until Saturday, they're mine What do you think?I'm also looking for some 185/55/14 tyres, which I'll probably get on Sunday and hope to fit them on the car. 175 wouldn't be bad either, for a little stretch effect, but I don't know if I can find any. Next on my bucket list are a couple of -40mm springs and window tinting, depending on my budget. Hope I'll be back on Sunday with a picture of the wheels on the car. Cheers! lowrider
Yep, I know this set The thing is I'll be pretty low on cash after getting the rims and tyres. If the guys still has them next month, I'm definitely getting them.
lowrider
Dude decided that he doesn't want to sell them anymore. I hate it when this happens. Currently rolling on my steelies with the trims on, so the search for a new set of wheels continues...
Danyutz
I'll also keep an eye out for a pair

lowrider
Hey guys, I was thinking about trying the Joey Mod for my headlights, like this guy did to his Lupo. What do you think? Should I? Edited April 10, 2014 by lowrider
Danyutz
Seen a pair for sale on tocmai, 250RON?
lowrider
Mercador, that is. I wanna make them myself, as I have all the required stuff and it's not that hard at all. I think they're gonna look pretty cool, right?
mattarosa
Just don't do them to dark otherwise they look pants! well in my opinion they do.
Danyutz
I'm a bit skeptical about opening the headlight itself, otherwise i do like them darker.
lowrider
Found this topic around here and that's the outcome I'm looking for: http://forums.clublupo.co.uk/index.php?/topic/65926-has-anyone-on-here-done-the-joey-mod/
lowrider
Could you guys suggest a few colors for the calipers and the drums which would go nice with soft blue? I was thinking at some dark red for the calipers, but I don't know about the drums...
Danyutz
Green for the calipers, grey or even black for drums.
lowrider
Finally, my blue one has some decent rims. The tires aren't exactly what I was looking for, but they're in mint condition. Coming next: -40 mm springs and tinted windows. PS: The roads aren't that crappy around here, this was taken somewhere around the countryside. nellytheelephant
get coilovers a lot better than springs barely notice its lowered at 40mm
lowrider
I'd love a set of coilovers. If I'm gonna find a set at a nice price, I might as well get them, even though the roads around here are not really coilover-friendly )
Daniel01
I've lowered my lupo by 60mm and it's a lot more practical for me but looks great! I'd recommend an AP if you decide to get coilovers though

lowrider
Any opinions about this? It was just a test. If I'm gonna do it, I'll use beer cans with silver tops and of course drill a hole in the can to get rid (read 'drink') of the beer.
