CLAYTONJONES
My engine cover sits differently to every other lupo gti, the oil cap is so low down?
CLAYTONJONES
It is brand new from VW by the way
danoid
Yer that looks wrong.I'd take it off again and check all the leads are in the correct place as it looks like something is blocking the correct seatingCould try removing your oil cap, and then putting on lasts but shouldn't have to.How is the cover held down? Do you just pull it off? If so, maybe it's just not pushed down correctly at the front. Can you take a picture without the cover on? (mainly because i'm nosey, and might be able to see something in the way)

danoid
Really? how bizzare, how did the old engine cover fit? Or did VW change the depth of the covers?
Rich
The old one wouldn't have fitted.Unless someone had removed the extender afterwards.
