Fretwell
The bases need grinding down lightly . Or pull the carpet back and remove some sound proofing from under Neath the seat , for the rears they need re trimming
Billster
Are the rears in the mk4 not 60/40 split?
Fretwell
Are the rears in the mk4 not 60/40 split? Yes with the extra material from the middle a decent trimmer should be able to retrim the lupo seats with the material
Koop
There's 2 guides, last time I checked the one with pictures is the one you want - the grinding method as mentioned above. I tried the other one with swapping the bases over but you need an M7 spline bit & I couldn't find one for love nor money.
Pete91
M7 splines are a feckin bitch to come by. eBay is your friend though
Pete91
Failing that a t42 torx should do (t40 was a bawhair too small and t45 was a bawhair too big) or a 7mm Allan key or an easy out
