depthmvm
Coilovers and a good set of wheels, a popular choice is BBS RS Splits.Be different! Edited July 8, 2013 by depthmvm
TommyDUB
I know there are cheap sets of coilovers out there, for around £350 so i've been looking at those for a while, and BBS RS are my all time favorite alloys but theyre a bit out of my price range, so i've been looking at some replica's

TommyDUB
i've seen rw's on arosa'a and lupo's, they look pretty good, it's either those or rs splits thats not bad for a full set of coilies, i've heard that most people recommend AP coilovers for lupo's because theyre cheap but work well, anybody running AP's? Mattz341
Hana yeah you might aswell weld a solid bar in place of your suspension with Joms! and you also loose massive amounts of handling capabilities

Pete91
I wouldn't complain about joms especially when taking the price into account
Jaycobain
If its clean and low it will look good after that its the little touches to make it your own. Just concentrate on those two things first and your car will look sweet
TommyDUB
i'll have to read more about JOM's, the roads where i live are a mess and theres a pothole around every corner so it could be a bumpy ride! does anyone know much about tyre stretching? *noob question* does the wheel have to be wider than the tyre to be able to stretch it? Pete91
Nah you're stretching it the wrong way mate, stretching a tyre is when you put a 16" tyre on a 15" rims :3loljkYeah you put a tyre that's thinner than the wheel it was originally intended for i.e a tyre designed for a 6j wheel onto a 7j rim. TommyDUB
hahaha thanks man, appreciate it i'm assuming the 'j' represents inches, is that right? Edited July 14, 2013 by TommyDUB
Mattz341
It's best not too stretch tyres, when you go into the physics the wheel and tyre experience then it would put you off for life :L
Pete91
Only stretch if you need it for clearance issues. Yeah j means inches.
TommyDUB
Thanks for that Pete, may or may not need to stretch mine now, i'll have to wait until it's lowered
