Gutted that I had to raise her tho just so I could get to areas surrounded by speed bumps an getting up our drive! jamjargem
Ok, So this weekend just passed I had some spare time to do a little bit of work to Bonnie, seeing as I am on a budget currently it makes much more sense to use the time I have to do the things that cost me nothing! So basically, I started with taking off the door trim, with thanks to a thread on here I managed it, with 4 people including myself complaining about blistered fingers!! HahaaSlightly annoyed tho cause on the drivers door it looks like someome has had it sprayed over (including the trim) and there is a clear difference in the paint and the lacquer...so slightly mift about that...but after speaking to an acquaintance who deals with paints he said it may come up in time with a very very good polish. Then came the change in the colour of the indicators, I figured that the clear ones were too dull for my liking, and thought that on the blue orange ones would look pretty good, these were soooo easy to change over, and have made somewhat of a big difference, I personally think that she looks cleaner with the orange ones on....Then the removal of the rear wiper and Lupo and 1.4 badge....again has given her such a cleaner look.....And finally a polish...And then another annoyance, I've lost my center But I have another on the way and should have that back in place soon enough...Plus the addition of my PVW sticker in the rear But in fairness, all in all, I think that these small changes have made quite the difference to Bonnie... xx Edited April 23, 2013 by jamjargem
Afksam
Looks really nice without the door trim I'm gonna try and get them off mine at the weekend Also what wheels are they?
jamjargem
Banded Steels 13''...For the trim there's a post on here as to what you need to get it all off etc, but it makes so much of a difference to the car its unreal, it looks so much tidier and cleaner since I've done it! Here's the link to the guys profile...such a time saver knowing exactly what you're doing...But also, just a tip, when using the dental floss, double or triple it over so its thicker, it keeps snapping otherwise!http://forums.clublupo.co.uk/index.php?/topic/77413-how-to-remove-door-stripsbumperguards-photo-walkthrough/xx Edited April 25, 2013 by jamjargem

jamjargem
Ok, so today I finished off the hub centre that I got for the one that went walk abouts last week, Sanded it down, primed, painted, and lacquered, and done a pretty good job if I may say so myself!!And back on the gorgeous girl I feel that she is once again complete Got my rear camber shims thru, and my front brake pads today, so a busy weekend for one getting those sorted....Also found a pretty mint place to take some nice pics on a very blessed sunny day last Friday of Bonnie, came out really well!! So far I think that that is all to update Xx Edited May 1, 2013 by jamjargem

Afksam
Noticed you'll be fitting camber shims just wondering if you'll fit eibach front camber bolts too?
jamjargem
I'm getting some more shims for the rear as it wasn't enough with just one set, and I may get some camber to the front too, but I love camber on the rear, but at the moment, money dictates an awful lot right now, so it's a case of wait and see lol x
