3lward
Done a quick search and unveiled nothing. I've noticed recently that my passenger side carpet is soaking with all the bad weather we've been having. But I also noticed droplets of water leaking over the passenger side trim by the speakers, any known leaks from that area? Any ideas would be great, thanks. Pete91
Widow seals? Take a watering can and pour it over the window and look for leaks.
mattarosa
leaves in the scuttle at the bottom of the wind screen blocking up the drains, the water collects and run down through the heater vents? thats what happened to mine.
Pete91
Ah i read that as the water coming from the door where the trim for the speakers are. What Matt said is more likely.
jpsh120
I have the same issue on the arosa, damp carpet in n/s footwell. On a related issue, I replaced the door speakers yesterday, the ones in the car had been fitted using spacer rings but the replacements went in no problem without the need for spacers? Question I have is what is there to stop any water that gets down past the window seal going onto the speaker and eventually corroding the contacts?? When i pulled the old speakers out my car, they were rusty as hell! Before fitting the new ones i fitted foam behind keeping the water from directly hitting the speaker. jpsh120
Thought as much! I might take them back out and try to put some sort of plastic shield around/above them.

Pete91
Yeah there's like a trough thing that runs from the front to the back so if water drips into the front then it will just run through to the back.
