Ramirez
U'll need an ET of 25 as anything less will sit proud of the arches. But even then your in iffy treatory as standerd the ET is `37-43`. Also dont know if youve tryed them but worth a look... www.styledynamix.co.uk

Weeman
Im running 14x8 et25 : )
Weeman
had 5 in the back and bottomed out suspension with no rub. tho caliper clearance is minimal tho im running brocks, steffans shouldnt be an issue.
Blue Loop
use ET 25 front and 20 rear if you don't want them to stick out too much, remember to get the rear ones with about 5mm less ET since the rear wheels go in a bit if that makes sense. The thing is if you get the rears with 5mm or 10mm less offset they will look very well (stick out like the front ones)

The thing is if you get the rears with 5mm or 10mm less offset they will look very well (stick out like the front ones)Im running 25 all round on 8"s the rears stick out more than the front by a few mm's Id say et20 u'd be lookin at arch work if slamming. As at the mo my tyres are stretched but still go under arch without rub another 5 to 10mm and itd hit the arch when on its bumpstops. wud show pics but cant put em up
carter
im have 14x8's, with 195/45 rubbers, iv got et26 on the front, which is perfect with no rubbing, and et15 on the back, minor arch rolling was required but they are fine and dont stick out too much, they just look right. Ramirez
This is on the assumption that youve got a non GTI:The clearance from stut housing to the inside of the wheel will be 8mm LESSThe outside edge of the wheel will EXTEND an extra 42mmThis is working on an 8x14" ET
Blue Loop
I'd say 20 front 15 rear
