  1. BOOOOOOOOM! Im back, the car has changed hands again, it was recently on show at The Fast Show at Santa Pod, was any one there and if so can you remember which stand it was on? *EDIT* Here is a pic taken of it at The Fast Show
  2. When I see it now I also think the first thing I would change are the grills lol and the wheels and the interior and the suspention and the colour. This was ok when i built it 5 years ago, but now it needs a full overhaul to make it good again.
  3. Text the owner now but no reply as of yet so not sure where he is based. The plate is just a private plate i was bought for my 18th birthday so holds alot of sentimental value to me, I messed up with the paper work when i sold the car.
  4. FOOOOUUUUUND IT, emailed the owner and got a reply so looks like i could be in luck with my plate.
  5. its hard to be thick skinned over a car you didnt build lol, can any one remember what was said so i can search for the post ???
  6. Oh rite, in that case I agree, although when i had my standard wheels in through the winter it would drive fully down, horificly bumpy and not recomended lol
  7. undrivable? mine was very drivable, cornered fine, Fk shocks at the rear and standard shocks upfront, no problems at all.
  8. remove the ajustment rings from the rear spring seats, thats should give you a couple more centimeters, or if your brave, just remove the spring seats completely.

    FAIL

I hate it when you buy a golf and all you have knocking around is a 206 bodykit.
  10. I wouldn't know where to start with all that mate, iv never had to track a car down before. Im just really supprised it completely fallen of the radar now lol.
  11. oh thats a bit pants, well hopefully it will re-surface some time soon.
  12. its just sitting low on AP coilovers at the moment, but iv had a set of 18" 3 piece Porsche splits sitting around for nearly 2 years now, going to finish the refurb on them in the next few months, put them on the car then sell it lol
  13. cheers mate, i thought i might find you still lurking around these parts lol
  14. could you PM me some details please
  15. well when i sold the arosa, i dint really have a reason to come on to the forum. I would love to know where the car is now, i still want to buy my private reg back lol
  16. no, i was happy with the stance.
  17. yeh it wasnt mega low, the rear arches sat on the tyre when fully down, but the front needed some playing about with to make it go lower.
  18. i think there are a few earlier on in this thread
  19. Cheers, its brought me some good times, all over Europe lol Reason I want to find it is so I can offer the owner some cash for my private reg back lol
  20. Hey, just wondered if anyone knew what my old Arosa was up too now a days, I was in touch with its 3rd and 4th owner, but no idea where it is now lol Here is a picture from when i owned it.
  21. massive thread resurection or what lol in my experience with airide i found doing it on the cheap is the worst thing possible, if i did it again i would do nearly every thing different. a few tips from me would be.... 1.a slow kit is better than a fast kit, much easier to set the ride hide 2.dont bother with side to side, the novelty soon wears off lol 3.DO NOT BUY A KIT FROM AMERICA 4.if you can stand too, just dont get airide, its far more satisfying driving a car that is low as hell on coilovers lol not sure weather this will be of help to anyone as it is almost 6 years since i put airide on my Arosa and i know alot has changed since then and im pretty much out of the game now. take it easy everyone
  22. ah so that was you lol, i love it bud, i really dig white cars. when i saw you, you were parked on a pavement in the over flow car park lol.
