    Hello

Wish i could afford it mate but me budget is really really limited to the point i may have to do upto a 500mile round trip just to get cheap lupo, then if budget ever allows i may take a trip to poland and get a 1.9tdi fitted as they seem to have loads of them kicking around lol

  9. 1/ Could visit the wizard of Nos he did the topgear jag a few years back he is like the godfather of nos in the uk for around £1000 you would get the full spec gear with progressive controller which would see you with upto +100bhp which would be safe in small doses but the controller would boost in stages, and the extra fueling would come from a fifth injector, but id start with only 50bhp first and wait till you get bored. 2/ Or get some 14" oz supperleggers with toyos cant remember which ones as i did sum research a ages ago and found they were the lightest tyres available at the time these will shed sh*tloads of unsprung weight which will give the feeling of gaining lots of bhp, get rid of the back seats etc if you want to go further that way you will have the benifit of a faster car but still have your econemy when you need it

    GOIN EURO!!

QUOTE(scoobydoo)got the car dropped. wee question!!since the wheels r gonna b 8 inches wide and will sit out from the car, will the tyre not hit the arch of the car all the time. not well explained but sure. Right the wheels will be 8inch wide but the top tyre profile wont be, u see ull stick 195/45 profile on them and the tyres will have quite a big stretch lowering the profile to say 35, createing this kind of effect _/ at top and bottom of tyres so if ur lucky the tyres will go under and to be honest with biddy 14's ur sump would smack the ground before the wheels touched the archs, dont get 205/45 or anything else get 195/45/R14 steel belted tyres.

    GOIN EURO!!

lucky sod i did it the other way got the wheels now needs it lowering as it looks like an offroad `go-cart` now lol
  13. Dude some of the younger ones on here and people new to customising altogether come here for advice on their Lupo's, dont knock them for asking  As for ur Lupo its different which I like, Im guessing uve just got the tape on until u get the bumper sorted.

    GOIN EURO!!

Go for it buddy, its worth it just to baffle the wax flower muppet chav racers : )
  15. You just know its been a Brit couple that designed it, a husband an wife team. If Seat have tweaked the mk5 golf chassis like they did wif the mk4 theyll be onto a winner as we all know the mk1 series 1/2 leon handled better than its cousin mk4 golf For the money ull get more in the way of equipment and nodoubt itll be slightly lighter than the golf. But if it was a toss up between the Golf GTI and that, Id probably pick the GTI as i really dont like 4door hatchs even if 2 are hidden

    GOIN EURO!!

Im running 25 all round on 8"s the rears stick out more than the front by a few mm's Id say et20 u'd be lookin at arch work if slamming. As at the mo my tyres are stretched but still go under arch without rub another 5 to 10mm and itd hit the arch when on its bumpstops. wud show pics but cant put em up
  17. Weeman

    GOIN EURO!!

had 5 in the back and bottomed out suspension with no rub. tho caliper clearance is minimal tho im running brocks, steffans shouldnt be an issue.
  18. Weeman

    GOIN EURO!!

    Im running 14x8 et25 : )
  19. I might come to this if she's ready in time
  20. Damn no mellow yellows, wish id gone now mind i wud av been just abit embarrsed considering u could fit a football between my tyre and arch : )
  21. Yellow Lupo TDI, Twin exhaust, OZ superturismos, Replacement front and rear lower bumpers. Looked quite funky
  22. QUOTE(adam style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="B)" border="0" alt="cool.gif" />What with this as well... http://forum.clublupo.co.uk/viewtopic.php?t=8746 We ort to start a "Youve f**ked your Arosa/Lupo" page. style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />
  23. As promised the worst Lupo/Arosa in the world (Only my opinion) http://www.edition38.com/board/viewtopic.php?t=3998
  24. QUOTE(smerko)theres got to be worse than that! it dosent look that bad - the graphics, eyebrows and possibly the rear clusters need to go though i do like the idea of colour coded rear clusters of sum sort... would be even more acceptable if it was a vr6 ot 1.8t. i think the lime green is making it look more 'max power' than it is. im not saying i would drive it as it is lolThere is something that makes this lupo look old skool cool. ill put the link up in a sec
  25. QUOTE(Tigz)QUOTE(Bikerz)Whats the best?Best for what mate? Come one dude, tell us what you are wanting from them. For instance, FKs use Koni shocks, but just use FK springs. Now as we know, Koni make 'better' springs than FK? Depends what your looking for. A Koni spring on a Koni shock, will give a better ride, than a FK spring on a Koni shock. but a Koni spring will only allow a -70mm drop, so for me a FK spring/Koni shock was the 'Best' for me. So do the fk allow -70mm + on both front and rear?
