geof Posted June 21, 2012 Report Share Posted June 21, 2012 (edited) Here are a few piccies of Melissa Soft blue Lupo we recently bought.45,000 miles from new, One owner - took a while to find a nice panel-straight, low-mileage one in soft blue - but we got there in the end Got it home and threw the wheel trims away and set about giving it a proper clean - detailing can come later We have now replaced the registration plates, put chrome indicator lamps in front lights and replaced the stock steel wheels with alloys. Her mum wanted her to have a brand new car...but she was adamant she wanted a soft blue Lupo!We looked at quite a few dogs, before we found this one. I am quite picky when buying cars, the odd small scratch or scuff mark I can put up with - As I can get these cut out and restored, so long as the car is panel straight and well maintained - as it gives you a good starting point to make a nice car. All it needs now is cleaning/polishing and detailing...oh and driving Just off out to kill some more flies!
