Have been pretty busy, been in the garage pretty much every evening over the last week.As the previous owner (Ben who I'm sure loads of people know!) flared the rear arches loads to fit some really wide BBS on, a lot of work has gone into making them a bit smoother which is pretty tedious!All the panels are now sanded back and I'm hoping to get most of the primer work done by the end of next weekend Just need to decide on how to fix the inside... Amber_Nunny Posted August 7, 2012 Author Report Share Posted August 7, 2012 Okay so over the weekend I had a guy come over that gave me some hints and tips of what needs to be done to Henry before he gets spray and basically...All the white crap that the previous owner has put all over the car had to be removed....... So I spent all weekend wiping Henry down with thinners! LolUpdate:Loads has been happening with Henry this week.Loads of filling, sanding and dismantling! (You wouldn't believe how many little bits there are to hand sand!)Managed to arrange someone to spray it so I'm dead happy A bit more than I wanted to pay but it should be a decent job.Hopefully some primer will be going on next weekend! Amber_Nunny Posted August 20, 2012 Author Report Share Posted August 20, 2012 (edited) So a quick update....I finally got my hands on a bumper!All prepped and ready to be primered I couldn't resist putting it on, it's quite nice to see it looking a bit more like a car!So in order to primer Henry my garage needed a proper clean, I mean I have literally hovered the floor! (which needs doing several more times to be perfect! )Nice and clean now though! ...Although I don't think my mum is too pleased with my new storage place...There is a few tiny bits to do now but I'm hoping to have them done by Wednesday.After that he is being degreased and masked up all ready for the weekend Fingers crossed that all goes okay and I'll hopefully have some nice pictures to put up by early next week!
