The Micro Machine

hey everyone I've been looking at the forum for the past 2 and half years while I was at uni and loving all the super nice motors. Now that am out working in the big bad world its time to stop talking about about what am going to do am start.

so here is my 04 1L which has taken some abuse from the student life syle over the 3 years I've had her, from being parked up for 6 months under a tree to an ex girlfreind washing her with a pot scorer.

My main plan is get the car to show worthy standard, nice and low on some tasty rims, a full re-trim and getting a few really nice bits and pieces.

but over the next few weeks am mainly going to be cleaning and doing a few little bit here and there while I save up for a decent set of coilovers.

Oh and that my dog tyson who loves nothing mover that to make the biggest mess every day in the micro machine.

Had an hour to spare today so started with a bit of cleaning of the boot and removing the rear wiper. Still got lots to do on the boot, next day am off think I will remove the boot lid to get the hinges cleaned and painted.

thanks Joshuaar defo going to bring her up loving V-Dubs

Just waiting on my new wheels to come in the post, some old-skool (well late 80's) vector 15" alloys will get picture up when they come

not sure if i should polish the lip and powercoat the centre white or black (best mate works as the main man at a power coating place in glasgow which means I have free powercoating on tap) or even just polish the whole wheel

just a little update, yesterday I polished off the markings on the rear lights and removed the "lupo" as well, i didn't get any pictures (but guessing pretty much every one know how it looks). the progress on the wheels is going slow and the plan to get coilovers at the end of the month looks like it going to be delayed as am looking at Audi A4 estate next week.

plans are if i get the Audi is to take the lupo off the road and i can get some proper work done without worrying how am getting to work the next day.

but here some pictures :)

progress on the wheels:
