Dogbot
is there really that much cold air available from this point?I recon he's going thru from the indicator opening so i would say yes....... its the same as what the mk3 boys do with the hella quads... Richud
I recon he's going thru from the indicator opening so i would say yes....... its the same as what the mk3 boys do with the hella quads...you can only really do that if its a track car i suppose? can't just take your indicator out. OEM jim has the best induction on here imo

221_matty
For the Silver GTI - What did you do once it was as the hole for the cold air pick up? just have the pipe near by or was their some way of mounting it.
Loz Martin
by the looks of the picture it looks like there is some more of that purple silicone hose near the end which i'm guessing had the correct bend in order to attach onto the original cold air feed Edited September 2, 2011 by Loz Martin
HalfOfZero
I like this thread. Collecting as much info as possible to build my own too.Anyone know the size of the throttle body on the mk1 1lt Arosa? Should be the same as a 1lt Lupo?Stupid question- When silicone hoses are advertised, is the size mentioned the diameter of the outside, or the inside diameter?? JJ Werrett
does the inductions make much diffrence as i only got the 1.4 75bhp model
HalfOfZero
Performance wise, not really. Nothing too noticeable at least. Makes a sportier noise and feels a tad more responsive, but that's it lol.Someone tell me the size of the throttle body? Anyone offering details (sizes and lengths) on their set ups? JJ Werrett
yea told wont make much diffrence being the bhp mine is, plus mines automatic so wouldnt make much diffrence in responsiveness i dont think.
