James827
So yeah, i went to my uncles today and got some free stuff from some of his old cars. Audio stuffs! 2x Polk 6x9s2x Polk component speakers1x ken-wood amplifier (Sub amp)1x Phoenix Gold M25 ampAnd aload of free shielded wiring.Ive been told this stuff is worth alot of money, (£500 ish new)but either way it was free and i cannot complain. Some pictures up soon, and a thread this evening about tips and stuff for wiringI however do need some more things before it all goes in,Gamma head unit,RCA outs for Gamma unit,SubBut all in good time.i will probably sort out the door speakers first, then build a nice parcel shelf etc. if anyone has more info on this equipment that would be great
Joti
James, if you have decent 6x9s do you really need a sub???That's overkill perhaps? - Subs are for movies not music. For a decent sound you want a good, neutral system.... louder does not mean better
James827
im not to sure tbh, im all new to this audio stuff! aha il be wiring up the 6x9s first then il go from there as il have to buy a sub and the 6x9s are sat across the room
James827
Yeah, me and my friend gave my car a good wash and polish today Proper snow-foam,2 bucket washPolishQuick Detailer rub down &Hard Wax along with Meguires tyre shine and AG glass polish. Fair play I was pretty peeved at my car due to some issues with a battery terminal and some speakers.along with another blow in my exhaust and my service indicator telling me it needs a service. but after today I feel much more positive (Photos taken with ipod ) Edited March 24, 2012 by James827
