mphgoose
The sump is already only just over an inch or two off the ground as it is, I've already had to raise it a little after I first put the coilies on as I couldn't get on and off my drive properly lol

mphgoose
Little update, i spent a good few hours today taking off the "lupo" and "16V" badges and giving her a damn good clean and wax! Well needed lol. I think it looks tons better without the badges on the back. Also i have now painted the rear VW badge blue and im waiting for the lacquer to dry before putting it on. The front will be blue soon too. Some pics of the clean-ness!!And also i thought i could go lower ... turns out i cant due to my driveway lol

jabbles21
This car makes me glad I have a yellow Lupo.. It also makes me wish it had 25 more BHP! My rear is in the same state.. word of advice, make sure the rear badge is stuck on very well before you drive anywhere.....

j22drury
lower it more. walking up your drive is good excercise and if you add up all the miles over your lupos life you do driving into your drive you might save a tree everyone wins. what wheels do you have in mind? mphgoose
Hey all, havent been on here in ages now - mostly due to a mountain of work - but just thought id post a couple of recent pics from a quick photoshoot me and my friend did with my lupo and his micra. I still havent havent managed to save enough money for some decent wheels but hopefully ill get there one day haha. The only real difference from before is the stickers i think. feel free to laugh at my daft stickers XD

mphgoose
Quick test fit of the wheels i bought, they really need a refurb and two need new tyres. Still not sure on colour schemes but we'll take it as it comes Without centre caps (think i prefer the look like this) And finally the roof bars and roof tray i bought. Think im going to cut down the bars a bit as they stick out way too much. My friend stuck the keg on there
mphgoose
Ok so i gave the ol' girl a good brush up today and did a little work so i thought id post a tiny update. First up she got a good clean which was well needed! Also i trimmed down the roof bars to a more aesthetically pleasing size and then chucked a few more stickers on for good measure! (Im getting addcited to sticklers!)Anyway - pics!Next on the list is to sort out a noisy wheel bearing and then get the 2 new tires i need for my new wheels so i can fit them! James827
just looked through this thread, looks really good! but, one question. does the roof rack whistle at speed?
mphgoose
just looked through this thread, looks really good! but, one question. does the roof rack whistle at speed? Thanks man. To be honest, it whistles big time at anything above 45mph haha. But as long as the sunroof is closed it's not too noticeable.
mphgoose
Well i havent posted about my car in ages so heres a quick update (apologies for the instagram pics.). Recently ive painted up my new(er) wheels and fitted them, just a shame about the balloon tyres but my empty wallet is preventing me from getting 155/55s. The finished result - Then put my new dubascrub sticker on the front - And finally, test fitted my new steering wheel today after FINALLY getting the original wheel off! I like it but im not 100% sold yet. Oh, also wound the front down a little more lately Any comments welcome as always
