Silver!
The lower the offset the more sticky out. They're likely going to be 38-49, so depending on width you sould be able to use a spacer upto 20mm anyhow.Possibley 25mm if they are ET49. adr1ch
sorry im a tool i meant the et will be high thanks lolthink ill got for 20mm or over got some cheap and nasty 10mm ones atm ill see what happens thanks people
Silver!
My bathursts are 6.5" ET43 with 195\45\15 tyres. I am running 20mm spacers on the rear, giving me ET23, and I only foul when loaded or on the largest of bumps.
Cooper_GTI
Check out the centre bores before you commit to buying them.I think the Vauxhall bore might be smaller than VW, therefore they wont fit.
jamiea7x
.25mm all around is **** all thats prob the thickness of the powder coat, get a dremel into it and itll be reet

scotty_82
Has anyone though of running the delivery steels that vauxhalls seem to be on now , they look like some sort of 5 spoke design alloy but are actually a steely .I've not been able to find a picture of them yet online. They would look pretty sick banded but im also not sure if they do them in 4 stud as vie only seen them in 5 so far. scotty_82
Ah right , i thought they were just delivery wheels.Im going to see who if i know anyone working for them and see if i can get a set in 16s for my bros mk3.Ill have to check up on width and offset etc first.Still cant find any pics of them though. Cooper_GTI
The VW hub centre bore is 57mm, whereas the Vaux centre bore is only 56mm, so they definitely wont fit straight on.You'd have to get them machined out.
scotty_82
Cheers , i knew the bore was smaller but was not sure on width and offset on the insignias etc Only takes a few mins with a sanding attachment sot sort 1 mm out .
scotty_82
Just checked , insignia is 5x120 and the newer shape astras are 5x110 with the usual high offsets.

Philplop
Some focus' have wheels like that too, they look like alloys but they're hubcaps and shaped steels. Good idea really. What are new Fords? 5x108?
scotty_82
Yeah i think the new ford range is still 4x108 for the smaller models and 5x108 for the larger ones. Edited October 6, 2010 by scotty_82
