BEP51
Are there any differences between the mounting of gti coilovers/shocks on either gti or lupo sport? or are all the fittings identical? Thanks for any replies
GtiJames
I'm pretty sure most coilovers kits you get for the lupo are universal to all in the range from 1.0 to GTi and the rears are adjustable shocks so I imagine they're the same.... Of course I'm wide open to correction here...
DanGB
I think most coilover kits are GTI or non GTI fitments. The Weitecs were anyway.
REDLooP
The only difference i've know is the gti have a higher front dampening an spring factor, due to the extra weight of the engine and added performance.I have gti spec fk coilovers on my 1.0 an they fitted fine. chris c
the gti has slightly wider track on the front but i wouldnt think this affects the coilovers not 100% though
treblet
The coilovers will be identical between GTI and non-GTI models. You may need to have the strut mounting holes on the coilovers slotted if they are mounted on the GTI to achieve correct camber settings. The GTI wider track comes from other suspension components not the spring and damper.
