This might sound stupid but how did you smooth the writing off? :confused:

Wet and dry paper, started on around 800 and working upto as high as you have. Then machine polished with Menzerna through 2 polished and 3 different pads.

easy to do?

I should probably do my passenger side one but the way i see it is that i dont use that door so its not my problem :P

3 bolts! :) simple, takes longer getting the lower door card off than it does to do the strap :lol:

You didnt grind enough off haha :( cant move them at the minute

Sorry, been a while since I checked in here!

I totally forgot about them not sliding that well! After not having them in my car for so long it must have slipped my mind. I just set them to where I wanted them and never moved them, so I never really thought about it while they were in mine.

Sorry about not mentioning it. :(

What are you planning to do about it? Grind a bit more of or leave them be?

Mine are terrible lol, everytime I open the doors theres just a loud cracking noise! so annoying but ive learnt to live with it :)

worn door straps = most annoying lupo based noise.

I need to do my drivers one, it's awful, and embarrassing!!
