stan-the-man
Isn't at least one cup holder installed in every Lupo as standard in the front?I got second one to substitute the coin tray from the stealers for about €25 all in (without the face plate-waiting for it ) and apparently its the same as Audi A6/A4 I was told by the Parts Department fella Is GTi one any different? LoopyLing
Does it depend on the age of your car? Early Lupos have a different dash to later cars...
xXx-Amy-xXx
I changed my coin tray for a cup holder, stright fit it was... easy as xXx-Amy-xXx

torii
there are 2 different types of cup holders available for vw luposthere is a DIN cup holder, it fits below your single din head unit- and one will be a cup holder and a coin traythen theres a lupo gti cup holder, that actually fits UNDER the upper dashwhere your stereo is- you will feel screw hole cover thingsthats where the gti underdash holder goesi found this out as i've owned a lupo gti and a lupo sportthe single din cup holder- are in polos tooso maybe if you're stuck finding them for lupos have a look for polos being broken on ebaythats where you will find the corresponding partshope that helps!! Silver!
Does the early Lupo dash not have a bank of switches where the GTi cupholders fit?I remember reading that a DIN slot cupholder wouldn't fit due to the sahpe inside the dash, but that may have been the MK1 Arosa. jamiea7x
technically the cupholder itself will fit any of them as the cupholder is a seperate unit

NickSL
I Have a bank of switches where the GTI cup holders fit. The thing that I have always wondered, what on earth is the top tray on the bottom shelf for? It has weird cut outs in it but for no apparent reason.. Am I just being stupid? Silver!
If you have the bank of switches as Chris does abpove, you will need the DIN type.If you don't then either DIN or underdash should fit.
GMInsite
Nope it wasnt like that the cubbyhole was bigger and the cup holders were tiny
