johnboy
Ive been using autoglym metal polish, you can get it at alfords and the like, and the exhausts come up showroom standard.
Crusoe
I just used the standard autoglym polish and it worked fine, lot's of elbo grease is all that's needed, some fine wire wool might help if it's really grotty.Welcome to the site
RobinA3
just use some metal polish and a cloth, the metal polish is abrasive so should removed all crap off it, fine wire wool might make small scratches.
twisty b-road
The autoglym is good, nut as Crusoe says it takes aaaaaaages.Solvol Autosol is about 10 times quicker. It's the daddy

bossjohnc
What about Mer? That always did the job with the shiny bits on my Beetle... (used to wash that every day and polish/wax once a week!)
