Probs with electric windows on my GTI???

Lubricate your window rubber seal guides as they sound dry to me.....the system senses friction (like a trapped hand) and re-opens the window for safety. I lubricate mine with a silicone spray every few months to keep ontop of it.........no problems here touch wood.

If that fails you may also have the common faulty window switch.

What he said. It worked for me too last year but they are doing it again. Just need a quick spray.

i have just replaced my window switch and this has solved the problem it cost me £15
