Long time VOR, expensive on a full rebuild.Warped brake disc following a trip down the snake pass twice on an empty road.Fan belt.Pretty poor, but I still love the car. Tigz™ Posted April 14, 2009 Report Share Posted April 14, 2009 lol it makes me laugh the amount of posts I see on the Polo forums about repeat gearboxes.The new VW Bearing kit is vastly improved.Id be happy if I only have to spend £500 on a rebuild every 40k miles.Its worth it for that sort of mileage. They just give you a new one that you and Volkswagen both know will fail again some point down the line.
