Powerkites at Hudson's field is where it's at Si!!

Spent pretty much the whole of my summer there last year, tried it on boards aswell but that just went hideously wrong and i nearly took out all the sheeps :lol:

How you can stay on the floor though i'll never know, even i was getting dragged everywhere and you're a matchstick compared to me :P

LOL well hopefully be going there thursday night after work to have my first go, im a matchstick compared to everyone lol, come along and laugh at me :P

How much is a half decent power kite for a starter? I live on the beach and i'd love one!

Mine was £94, the forum i asked on said its a good begginers kite you could get cheaper im sure.

i got a few kitesurfing uns, a 4.5 a 7 and a 12.2 ... been wakeboarding for most of the summer so cant wait to get back on the kites when i go back home again :D

I bet that's quality fun would love to try it

Cheers Siimo, so what size is your kite? 3m? It looks freakin awesome, i've been watching vids on youtube all morning! Will i get airbourne with a 2m kite? I want to fly!!!

Yeah 3m mate its a "beamer III 3m" just used it today and bloody hell it pulls lol :) Will stick a video up later, so much fun and bloody good exercise.

Umm i dont know depends on your weight really and the wind you try it in, im sure the people on http://www.racekites.com/forum/default.asp will help they helped me out :)

I would fly away i reckon haha, that was the limit of winds i think i can handle for now.... my arms kill lol

I'm into these, have a 3.6m beamer great fun, and a good size for most wind conditions, flown it in 5 to 25mph winds (the later best when youve practiced)

also used a pepper 4.5m, excellent starter

flexifiol blade 4.5m bit more vicious

and a raptor.... only for the brave !

I would like a couple more but this could get expensive fast lol, are those ones you have used or do you have more than one ?? :)

Few more goes later got a few jumps in :) hopefully the rain will hold off tommorow for some more fun

Whats the 1.6m like in strong winds, was looking at a 2m for when there is too much for the 3 lol

Took the 3m out today took off and landed on my face in strong winds, mate got flipped up... around and then landing on his back and head doh....
