twisty b-road
Because you will get water in the car when it rains or you wash the carI think I know exactly why, but I will `e-mail` FK and see what they've got to say about it..........So don't buy these because they've leaked on my carOr these because they've leaked on another clublupo car, who for now I shall allow to remain nameless <IMG SRC="http://www.`fk-automotive`.de/images/produkte/FKRL5082.jpg"> Edited June 9, 2008 by twisty b-road

WanabeGangster
I've got sonar lexus's (look the same as them in the pic but are a different `brand-come` from germany) fitted to my arosa. I first thought they were great quality cos they dont steam/condense up. Then I found my carpet to be soaking wet, so i'm guessing thats why!! Silicone sealer me thinks!! Mike de Rouffignac
Why the complaints of those good looking lights, Surely the only way Rainwater gets in, is through the Wiring harness aperture, cant be the lights as they are a sealed unit. I have fitted the Hella Lights, and used the appropriate rubber seals as sent. The unit itself is not a brilliant fit but certainly dont get rainwater into the back or boot area.Dont want to sound rude but have you fitted them correctly, Apologies in advance for any upset I may cause. Tigzâ„¢
Mike, there isnt anything to fitting them as they have the same base plates as the standard rear lights. You just plug the cable into the provided slot, then push them into place and fix the 1 screw that holds them in place.
