It's to run while delegates walk into a launch event for a software product. Basically a glorified powerpoint, but with some decent animation and the odd video snippet. It's a pretty high profile event - MPs, press, etc. so the track has to be clean - ideally an instrumental. I've been told it needs to be "upbeat." The video will be looping, probably about 3 or 4 minutes long, so it would also be good if the tune didn't have any really obvious phrases, bridges, etc.Initial thoughts are:Mic Check by Imogen Heap.Cumulus, also by Imogen Heap.Chinese Burn by Curve - maybe a bit too "upbeat" and chiche'd since Top Gear seem to claimed ownership of it. Soundtrack wise,maybe something from the US-version of Solaris - it was in a VW Golf advert a year or so back.or maybe something by Michael Nyman off The Piano. it has been suggested that I use something off that Indian Danny Boyle film!!! But that's a bit too obvious - it can't be in the face of the delegates - it wil be running while they're networking and getting seated......anyone have any ideas?? Oh, and need to have this put together for Monday am - together with launch website, all the presentation materials, the it arrangements for the day!!!And the weekend's an hour shorter than normal!!!EEEK!!!!Deek.
