Hi people,

Can someone do my wheels black on my car? They're anthracite at the moment but l'm considering having them re-furbed.

Thanks in advance, cheers for last time as well by the way!!

I tend to agree mate, its a pretty rare car, I would think you would limit your market by changing the wheel colour from standard.

Cool car though wink.gif style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />

Decided to keep it and do some things. Got some Kw's on back order and some nice bits on the way wink.gif style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />

Milltek cat back, Forge BOV and ITG filter ordered today..............don't tell the wife wink.gif style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />

Umm they're the same shape as standard but bigger, fill the gap in the bumper a bit more.

The Forge BOV with blanking plate should give more of a rally car chirp than a baggy woosh of air.

Currently trying to persuade Awesome Gti to fit it, failing that l've got a tame specialist in Manchester that l can take it to.

Thankyou kindly!

Eventually l'll dump it on some coilovers but at £1000 they're a bit pricey at the minute!

Nice one chap, wouldn't mind one with black badges and a sly suspension drop if its not too much trouble.

Top skills by the way mate. smile.gif style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

I tend to get a bit "OCD" about cleaning my car so don't suppose that'll be a problem!

The wife recons it looks a bit "kev" but l quite like it. Need to see it from another angle l think..............smile.gif style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

I actually looked into a set of 19" Comp Mo 6 spokes in black for it............or would that look random?!?

Might look too big,the standard wheels are nice enough mate.

My dad only went for the Compomotives so they would clear his Brembo's,he stuck with 16" though to keep the handling as good as possible.

Legend mate. I'm in total agreement about the badges. The handles make it look random. Although l do like the front badge.

I think the coilovers and black wheels will have to go ahead now........just wondering do you think l can get away with doing the black wheels before l get the coilovers? Can't really afford to do both at the same time as the coilovers are muchos dollars for this. KW only do the varient 3 kit for it....

I think you could get away without lowering it on the black wheels, as they aren't completely different to the standards, its only the trained eye that will notice they are different, which is a good thing. Variant 3s will cost you a bomb! Can you not get a decent 40mm spring and shock setup as they seem pretty low at the back anyway and from the pics it only looks as though you need to sort the front height out.

The more i looked at your car when i was changing it in photoshop the more i liked it, it is so nice and that colour is awesome, i can't wait to see the transformation start to take place. shades.gif style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":shades:" border="0" alt="shades.gif" />
