Just thought to make a post about it.

Its been reviewed as amazing, brilliant, a masterpiece etc.

But did anyone feel it was a bit, well, s hite? Lol

I was really looking forward to watching it, especially as I loved Sin city.

I love gore, a good tale and mean looking bad guys.

But what the bejebus was with the story line?

It was, in my fella's words, "disjointed"

I know it was lightly based on historic events, but a fat guy with snippy clipper hands? Hmpf

It was good to look at, and I really like the scene where the king lies dead amongst his men.

But it was here there and everywhere. Too up to date insults/sarcasm in a film set over 1000 years ago just didnt work.

I give it 5 wibbly eggs out of 10.

Over and out, Johnathon Woss

Well the story is actually greek mythology.

Frank Miller ( The creator of " Sin City " ) Obviously found this interesting and used it as a foundation to create this.

Like Sin City it skimmes the line of reality with alot of fantasy involved.

It's not really mean't to show real facts tongue.gif style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" />

One thing that did bug me slightly....

In the Film they show how the king and queen like to get funky.

Yet it's a fact that Spartans were very " Angel.gif style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="Angel.gif" /> ".

Meaning they like to swing both ways.

Not saying that's what i wanted to see but laugh.gif style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> would have added the comical value to it.

Big buff men with super man capes making out after a battle. :|

Not even bisexual.

They were homosexual.
