hmm insurance are gona love that one.... question is who covers it in the first place

seeing as the car actualy costs over £4m to build it would cost more to fix than the car was in the first place and its not like you can get another

anyone for an engine conversion biggrin.gif style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />

vw might buy it back for spares though with all the mechanicals at the back i'm sure it will be repaired, probably a 6 figure bill though as you'd have to assume there aren't parts sitting on a shelf for repairs.

I think development costs are tied up in the £4m 'value' tag - and considering it's a front ender I don't think it'll be a write off!

So, the UK claims the 'first veyron wreck' trophy.

So long as the insurance company didn't have it down as a Rover (a-la Top Gear insurance phonecall).

doesn't sound like much of a case, unless they can prove he was being reckless a reasonable lawyer will get him/her off. Eye witnesses say the car was driving quickly before the accident... it'll be put down to the car aquaplaneing or some such thing and not go to court as nobody was hurt.

It could be the case that the driver let off a quick fart, the resulting upthrust and 1mm leg movement propelled the car to 190mph thus causing the crash. You could argue that in any court in the land.
