lunalupi
They look so cute standard style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="wub.gif" /> heheI like it - what exhaust is that? It doesn't look as big as a lot of tailpipes I have seen around, or maybe its just seeing it on an Arosa
Swoxy
Nice work! Why don't you colour code the rear bumper?
Slavi
Tnx for the nice answers style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> @ Klaas; Jij komt ook echt overal he style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" /> @ Lunalupi; The Exhaust is custom made and has a diameter of 6cm. So that's big enough for the turbo conversion coming up.@ Swoxy; I already have a lupo rear bumper with ABT skirt and ABT sideskirts. The rear is going to be something special. I can tell you that the DTM look is going to disappear. Just need to earn some more cash to make everything happen style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />

Slavi
Hello everyone,It's been more than a year sinds my last post. You know how it goes, bought a house with my girl, switched jobs, busy busy busy.. Sorry for that and time for an update I should say.You all know about the turbo plans I have. A turbo is nice but more work needs to be done. If you want to do it right that is.Februari 2007 my gearbox gave me some headachs. It wouldn't let me shift anymore so it needed some work. And while I was at it... well see for yourself;Nice and cleanA Sachs Race Engineering clutch to cope with the increased torque. After that I realized that fast driving is nice but stopping would become a problem with the standard 239mm discs at the front and the drum brakes at the back. So I searched for some info to upgrade the brakes.Old discsNew discsDonor is a VW Golf G60. These discs are 280mm and 22mm thick. The brake pads are Ferrodo's DS Performance. This combination is an excellent upgrade I can say! And altough braking is being done with the front brakes for 90% I wanted to fit disc brakes at the back as well. Even if it was only for the nicer looks Old drum brakesNew discs at the back. Also from a Golf G60. These G60 calipers are made from steel and often the hand brake doesn't work. I have replaced them now by aluminium ones of a Polo GTI (a lot of VW's use these rear brakes though). These aluminium calipers don't rust like steel ones do so handbraking in winter times is no problem.Complete pictureJust enough space in my BBS wheels. If you are considering this upgrade than keep in mind that some 15 inch wheels do not fit anymore. For example ATS Cup, been there done that Finally I came up with another idea to increase braking safety. I think I am one of the few (If not the only one) that has fitted a complete Anti Blocking System of an Ibiza 2.0 GTI on an Arosa...I also did some exterior work in 2007. The side skirts finally made it to my car;Well that's it for now. Hope u like It and I'll try to post a little more often.Grtz Björn

Slavi
A while ago some fool damaged my BBS rims by letting them kiss a kerbstone. (If you think your car is in good hands at every VW dealer then think again )When I brought the BBSses to a friend so he could fix them again I wanted to drive back at black ATS cup wheels. The ATS wheels I wanted to keep for the winters while polished rims hate the salty winterroads. But because of the brake conversion the ATS cup wheels didn't fit.I had two options, a 75km walk home or fitting horrible green wheels. As you can see I chose the last option ;Fortunately the BBS RM's have been fixed after a short winter with these horrible green rims . With another colour and half an inch smaller at the front they are finally on my Arosa again. This is it's new look for 2008; Unfortunately the car was a bit dirty on these pictures that is why it looks a bit dull. Björn
