Jono
boring question i know, but i'm looking at buying a house and because i work away 2-3 nights a week i want a garage but i think i'll be struggling to get my new beetle in a so-called single garage on a new estate? but does a loop go in ok, i.e. can you drive in and actually get out the drivers door ok?thanks for your help!Jok its a lame excuse to change the 1.8t bug for a loop gti style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />
Snoopy
According to this: http://www.honestjohn.co.uk/road_tests/index.htm?id=31Width of Lupo = 1,803mm Width of Beetle = 1,836mmSo that's only 3.3cm difference. If you can get one in I'd say you could get the other in.

AndyW
I know some new build houses at the moment are coming with some piss poor excuses for garages, but yes, the Lupo will fit I'd think.

Snoopy
When I was looking at houses during my recent move I checked out a few with garages and the VX would fit reasonably comfortably in all of them (width 1884mm).Decided against a garage though, much as I'd love one (as would the VX!), you got so much less house for the money. Snoopy
No no no, it's traditional to have a Lupo before the VX, going straight there from the Beetle would just throw everything out of kilter!

montythemole
My parents neighbours have a new build and have to fold the wing mirrors in on their Corsa C to fit through the door and then have to do gymnastics to get out the car. Stupid new house!
